I bought this item to replace a similar defective switch which was made by a different company. I use it to keep my caravan lead plugged into to charge the leisure battery and mains supply. It has proven very reliable so far it is good quality and has a positive contact when the switch is turned to on which is far better than my previous purchase

Had this for around a year and is all still working fine keeping our motorhome plugged in at home.

Good basic product for occasional use, does the job. Probably would not withstand regular repeated use.

It works, but. When you turn it off. It can be a right pain trying to get it back on. Its a safety thing that does not seem to realise the plug is in. Its a mechanical safety device so a bit odd why it won't work sometimes!

Ideal to connect to my van which is on my drive . Easy fit and sturdy .

Got this for being able to wire in our caravan to keep the battery charged and also to use as an outdoor plug, works absolutely brilliantly very high quality and easy to wire up and use,

Bought this switched socket to fit on my outside wall so that a power supply could be connected to my motorhome when it's on the drive. Particularly like being able to switch the power off enabling the lead to be still connected. It's a sturdy and quite big socket and does protrude quite a bit from the wall so be aware that it may effect access if fitted in a confined space.
