Mini Sub, Mega Roar! The Pyle PLPW6D 6-inch subwoofer is another beastly addition to my car setup. Small in size, but massive in impact—this little guy punches way above its weight with deep, tight bass that makes every track feel like it’s live in the car. Dual 4-ohm coils give flexibility, and the 600W power handling means it doesn’t break a sweat, even when I push it. Installation was smooth, it works perfectly with my Recoil DI800.4 amp, and honestly, I can’t stop grinning every time I hear it hit. If you want compact yet ferocious bass without blowing out your wallet—or your ears—this sub is a no-brainer. Car audio game? Officially leveled up.

What a cracking speaker for the money!! I bought this to replace my land rovers harman kardon sub. It was easy to fit, and will need time to bed in and flex, but the bass this resonates is exceptional for the size! These don’t come with a speaker grill so I bought one separately to protect it in my box, but with a proper EQ if you spend the time to get your EQ just right for your car, this is well worth the money. I’m an audiophile enthusiast and this carries a deep, warm and rich tone. Obviously it’s a 6.5inch sub, so isn’t going to be like a 10 or 12inch, but it provides a very good bass response, resonates wonderfully for the price!! Recommend 100 percent! Seller was extremely efficient at posting as well

Not the best sub in the world, but works for a small project. Definitely not worth installing in a car tho, you better off with an 8" or 10" sub from a better brand.

I purchased these after a video how-to online recommendation, the subwoofer box requires a little fettling to make these fit but they work a treat.

Not worth the money, save your money and buy something better!

Added a second one of these to my system to give stereo subwoofers. I don’t push them too hard but they give excellent bass for a smaller unit and can be wired for 2, 4 or 8 ohm operation. Slight downside is it would be useful to have a drilling template to help install them on a plain panel.

I was surprised to receive the speakers in plastic cone instead of metal as advertised. This inadvertently reduced the sound quality and output.

Ho sempre avuto subwoofer di marchi blasonati, per questo non ero tanto convinto prima dell'acquisto. Appena scartato sono stato notevolmente sorpreso dalla qualità costruttiva e dalle rifiniture, da vero Subwoofer quasi professionale. Dopo di ciò sono passato alla qualità del suono, ci ho costruito una casa armonica artigianale e la qualità del suono è davvero ottima tenendo conto del diametro di soli 20cm, in passato ho avuto sempre 30cm, ma vi assicuro che questo piccolo sub non lì fa rimpiangere. Io lo uso con un amplificatore di classe D di 200w RMS, consiglio di non collegarlo ad amplificatori oltre i 250w RMS perchè suonando per molto tempo la bobina si fa abbastanza calda quindi potrebbe deformarsi e gracchiare. Pecca su alcune frequenza molto basse, ma a questo prezzo, credetemi, non c'è nulla di migliore. (le specifiche tecniche riportate qui su Amazon sono sbagliate, i watts in RMS sono 400, come dimostra la foto)

Great speaker! Installed as the door woofer for my volvo as a replacement for a blown Dyne audio woofer. 6.5inch is perfect. “If using for volvo v70 p3 you need to burn holes for the mounting screws and solder the connections. It is easy to do but requires solder and a soldering iron.”

Habe diesen Lautsprecher als Unterstützung im Schrebergarten gekauft. Angeschlossen ist er direkt an einem Autoradio (Anschlüsse für die hinteren Lautsprecher. Deshalb einen Lautsprecher mit doppel-Schwingspule gewählt.). Da der geringen Leistung des Radios (meist ~4x15 Watt RMS) ein höherer Wirkungsgrad benötigt wurde, habe ich ein passendes Bandpass-Gehäuse gezimmert (~50-90 Hz). Damit hat sich auch das Problem mit der Frequenzweiche erledigt, die bei allen anderen Bauformen nötig (und teuer) geworden wäre. Das Ergebniss ist sehr zufriedenstellend. Ich habe ihn im Pegel sogar etwas zurück nehmen müssen (Fader: +3 zur Front).
