nowadays transmissions quality? change the oil much sooner than recomended by manufacturer
I couldn’t buy ULVL transmission fluid anywhere in the local stores and that was exactly what my ford transit van called for. This transmission fluid gave to my truck new live, transmission finally shift smoothly and accordingly to the engine rpm! My story is hard to believe, at least for me! I have only 8-9 month old car with about 8k miles now. From the beginning I had a feeling that something is wrong with car, but also told myself that they change the engine size, the transmission amount of speeds and that’s probably why the car shift unusually and engine is in high rpms compare to my 8Y old van of exact same size and style. Until one day it got so bad, that I decide to check amount of transmission fluid and add some if necessary…….I had to add almost 1 gallon!!!!, the transmission was only half filled: ford call that “initial fill”. What a vocabulary for destine your new car to destruction and later blame consumer to not checking periodically your car. The first time I add what the local store recommended based on their pc information. That worked only for a month and was where I started, so I pump it out and install again the same stuff temporarily for 2 weeks before I got this ULVL fluid. I got out al 8 quarts and was capable pump in those two gallons back. The truck is now running as it should run the first day I got from the dealer! Ford does lately (for past 10Y) on the transit vans weird things which impact the functionality. I already learn the hard way; not having installed air filter, very bad quality of brake pads and brake discs (last only about 15-17k only), now initial fill of transmission fluid and recently I changed the gear fluid…let me tell you, full of metal shavings and gear box was already making hard shifting noises at only 8k, not to mentioned that the gear box cover popped out itself by only unscrew the bolts, the seal already shown signs that it will start leaking very soon…the oil was already breaking pathway through the seal…..

This is good ATF I am from MIssouri the show me state so they had to SHOW ME
I wasn't going to buy this because I had never heard of it but after reading the ratings I decided to give it a try. My Ford Edge ST had 56000 miles on it and it was shifting hard so I wanted to change the ATF. I drained out a little less than 4.5 quarts which is not all of the fluid and then put in 4.5 quarts of TRIAX drove it about 100 miles then drained and filled again. The first two times the fluid was a little dark but better the second time. I made the mistake of taking out the check plug without it running and about a quart ran out so i started it and added until it was running out the check hole with the car leveled and warm. then I took it for a drive and so far I can tell it is shifting much smoother. I am going to drive it about a week and drain and fill again and I am convinced that it is going to do the trick.

If you need ULV ATF, Definitely consider this one!
Recently completed full transmission service on my 2018 F150 and decided to give this one a try. Manufacturer calls for MERCON ULV ATF but for multiple reasons I would not to use that. There are very few options when looking for Full Synthetic ULV ATF that meets the specs for the Ford 10R80 transmission but after some research, this one quickly rose to the top of my list and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. This ATF delivers as promised and stands up to what they put on the label even though it is economically priced compared to others like Lucas Oil that it double the cost. TRIAX products are now my GO TO option for automotive lubricant needs.

Wanted to review but cannot.
I can't give an honest review of this product. I had purchased this because it was a good value for 4qts and it has great reviews from other buyers. I have a F-150 and typically use MotorCraft Trans fluid. I thought I would do my change out of the pan fluid and 4qts is enough for that. After more research on mixing transmission fluids, I decided not to use this. It is recommended to do a full flush when changing fluid brands. I will stick with my regular routine. I did purchase this because of the great reviews and history TRIAX has. When I returned this and gave the reason about not wanting to mix this with my existing fluid, they readily accepted my return without question. So Customer service gets 5 stars, that I can review.

ULV Transmission Fluid. So far so good.
First time Triax customer. Used this fluid in my Ford 10R80 transmission. Seems to work fine. I'll update this in 6 months or so.

Better then OEM
2018 3.5 f150 w/ the 10 speed. ULV Did a drain and fill at 87,**** let it drain and drip over night. Poured this stuff in. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Even when sitting overnight and starting, the shift jump from 1st gear to 3rd is smooth. Which was unexpected. Normally, the shift from 1st to 3rd are a bit of a jump, however… after… it glides into the shift and no jump is felt. Sport mode shifts are quick and smooth aswell. Towing, the temps do rise upto 206 but quickly drop down to 185 when in normal mode. Highly recommend this over the Ford brand ULV.
