Seagate Game Drive 4TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD - Compatible With PS4 (STGD4000400) blue

Have been using for little over a year now for our PlayStation 3 pro as extra storage for digital games. Has worked great. Was easy to install. Opened box plugged into the USB port of the PS4 with the provided cable. Went under settings to storage and clicked to format to the PS4 then under settings and clicked on use external storage so now our games automatically download to the external memory instead of using the PS4 memory storage. We always had to delete digital games then redownload when wanting to play the games that take up so much memory (fortnite takes up ALOT of memory with their constant updates). We have a lot of power surges where we live and this always fixes itself when the power clicks off. Hasn’t caused any issues with this memory device with all our power surges. Has worked great. Buying a second now for my sons PS4. Would recommend.

This was originally bought to add storage to my playstation 4. But when I got a playstation 5 I wanted to use it to keep my playstation 4 games and allow for more space to be available for new playstation 5 games. It was easy enough to disengage from my ps4 and format for my ps5. Have had no problem with corruption of files. Love the amount of games I'm able to save.

I use it as a normal storage device. It doesn't take up a lot of space, and has been reliable so far.

I bought this for my PS4 (dec '21), and have kept all of my games on it. I only had one issue setting it up and that was the fact I did NOT plug it in FAST enough. I couldn't figure out why it was not being read by my PS4 and looked online, turns out that was the issue. I have since got a PS5 and it's plug and play. All of my PS4 games were on there, I was able to access them and play them immediately. Although the game save data was saved directly to the PS4, so I did have to transfer that to the external HD (or upload to cloud and access from there) to be able to resume any games from my save points. All in all, worth the buy, love having the extra space for plenty of games!

Storage is good, it’s looks good and compact easy to set up. If you disconnect it by accident when you connect it again it’ll take a while to read and it’ll go back to normal.

Reliable and stylish external drive for the PS4. Have purchased about four or five of these over the years and have never yet had any issues.

I bought this in 2019, it is now January 2025. I have another ps4 that is now the family one, it's low on storage. I decided I'll get another one, for no reason I started looking at some low reviews. I decided to write a review myself. I have used this hardrive since 2019. Started on my PS4 pro and then I got a PS5 needless to say I simply unplugged it from the PS4 and plugged it into the PS5. The hardrive without missing a beat had all my games I had stored from PS4 ready to play. This has been great, it's important to me since I still don't have fast internet therfore I keep any game I downloaded saved so I don't have to wait hours to re-download something I want to play again.

Cela fait maintenant plusieurs années que j'utilise le même disque dur et j'en suis très satisfaite. Disons qu'il fait ce pour quoi il existe. Il stock parfaitement tous les jeux que je met dessus. Ma console s'en porte beaucoup mieux. Donc je recommande ce produit.
