Painless night driving
It does not necessarily make it so that you can see more things, but instead, it makes it so that you are no longer painfully blinded by bright headlights. This means you not need to take your eyes away from the road while wearing these, and you can also see exactly where the glare has made it impossible to see. As in, you can actually look at the spots that you can't make out due to the glare, directly. It's a little difficult to describe. Think of a painting where you can see a night road and some really bright headlights, and as the road gets closer to the headlights, you stop being able to see the road. Normally, looking at that part of the road would be painful, and even looking at the part of the road that you can see would be painful, and might make you want to take your eyes off of the road. Wearing these, no pain.

Good fit and feel, cuts glare and "halos" around lights
I originally bought these for my husband. He does most of the driving in our family and has difficulty seeing at night. His contacts don't work so well at night and he has difficulty reading road signs. I got these in the hopes that they might help some. This is what he had to say about them: "The glasses perform as I expected and do manage to cut glare and sharpen images during night driving. The quality and fit are very good. There is a small issue with ghosting images of bright lights. Each light will ghost two additional spots on the glasses, while dim they are still slightly distracting." Last night I was driving home and I was having trouble. I recently got new contacts and my eyes were dry and every light had that halo around it. I thought I was going to have to pull over and put drops in my eyes or take my contacts out or something. Which I really didn't want to do since I didn't have my glasses with me. Then I remembered these were in the car. I put them on and instantly my eyes felt less strain, there was less glare, and all the lights were less bright without diminishing my ability to see. If I had any complaint at all it would be the way the ear pieces curve around squeeze my head. I'm not a fan of that and if I had been buying these for me, or if I were going to be doing much driving at night I would buy a different style with straight ear pieces.

Not miraculous, but help some for night driving
These glasses seem to be a reasonable compromise - they help reduce some of the glare from oncoming headlights, without being too dark for safety. Especially helpful with the newer bluish bright LED headlights. As I said in the headline these glasses are not miraculous, but I intend to use them routinely for night driving. Worth giving them a try if you have similar problems driving at night. (I did also try them during the day , but everything looked just too weird...not brighter, that's impossible, but perhaps too high contrast. So during the day I'll continue to use polarized amber sunglasses.)

Work okay in some situations and not much in others.
Work in some situations (Marginally useful). I found it to be helpful against reflective glare from the sun and headlights in several situations. I was behind a polished tanker truck, and it reduce some of the glare. Not to the point that it blocked it out, but let's say that I noticed a difference. I didn't find these to be very effective to ongoing headlights. If they were 30% cheaper in cost, I'd say it's worth a try. And at 50% below the current price; I call it a must have. I continue to use them and update any notable observations. They're light weight and don't take up much space.

Not amazing
I didn’t like these for fit and they are heavy and metal frames (I’d like very flexible plastic). Plus the lens is small (stylish but need good field of view when driving). Also, tried them a few times on/off and they are not quite dark enough for me. Of course they cannot be too dark, but not sure where that line is.

Needed to replace 'slight prescription tinted' anti-dazzle glasses as prescription no longer required. Chose these due to previous submitted reviews. They appear to be quite expensive compared to other glasses but if one is going to wear glasses for driving one requires a decent pair for all round safety. I have a number of Vector style polarised sun-glasses. I use Oakley for daytime driving now, I used to use Ray Bans. So how do these compare? The fit is good for me, but maybe a little tight on a larger head. I have used them during the day when it was bright, but sunglasses were too much. Yes, I liked what they did. They added more contrast to what I could see. Have only used them at night in town in good clear weather, but they did slightly reduce the glare of oncoming vehicles, just as my original 'prescription' glasses did. So am I happy with this product? You bet I am!
