I love this Apple Watch Ultra case. After trying several mediocre plastic cases with cheap plastic screen protectors (with some of them claiming that they’re glass when they’re not!), I decided to bite the bullet and give this premium product a try. After a few weeks of trying this case on, I have zero regrets. It is beautifully conceived, beautifully made, and frankly, an aesthetic compliment to the Apple Watch Ultra. It doesn’t have a built-in screen protector, and I’m actually happy about that. It has a raised bezel around the Ultra’s screen, which I think provides adequate protection on its own. The cases I tried with screen protectors ultimately accumulated grime between the backside of the protector and my Ultra’s watch face. What a nuisance. I’ll address a few “nits” from other reviewers: 1. Size—yes, it noticeably makes your Ultra bigger. But to those people who complain about this, I say, “Don’t bother with a case.” Until there is a bulletproof covering that doesn’t add any extra heft to smart devices (are you listening, Apple?), people need to reconcile the fact that all protective cases add bulk. If a person opted for the Ultra to begin with, they are very likely happy with a large watch anyway. 2. Watch band accommodation—I can’t speak about the troubles that other people have with Apple’s Alpine Loop, but this case works perfectly with the Midnight Ocean band and all other metal and leather bands I own. And I really like the fact that you don’t have to remove the case to install a different watch band. Great design work, people! 3. Rotating crown access—yes, the case does make it harder to rotate the crown. But I’ll live with that slight annoyance compared to the added protection that the case affords the crown. And it just plain looks cool! 4. Price—yes, it’s pricier than just about every other Apple Watch case out there, but once you see and experience this case protecting your $800 Ultra watch, you’ll understand why. Worth every penny! This is hands down one of my favorite Apple Watch Accessories. I wanted a case that was tough and that would also look good. This watch case checks both boxes. It’s comfortable, sleek, and solid. I took a hard fall on a skateboard while wearing this and slammed on the cement. There was a gash on one side of this case where I took the fall. I have broken multiple Apple Watches in my day and I know had I not had this case it would have cracked the screen. On top of that I misplaced the button while cleaning this case about 2 months after that and I reached out to the company to see what they could do. They took care of me and told me that I was still under warranty. Will buy from this company again. Greatest iWatch body guard! This has been the best Watch protection I have purchased. It is a 2 part construction to provide the best and full coverage possible. It is an inner rubber portion to the watch fits into to provide a soft protection around the frame so it won’t or lower odds of scratching the body. Then you add the harder shell over which provides a raised top to help protect the sides of the screen but giving you full function of the watch with all the actions it has with swipe up and down. Yes the dial has limited access but the protection you are getting is worth the trade off and it really doesn’t impact me that much. Oh and let’s not forget the color. I got the dark green which was a perfect color to me as it had more green in it than the apple green which I love! Thank you for a great watch protector!

TLDR: You’re definitely paying more for a nicer, mostly thought out product. I feel my watch is safe against anything except like the corner of a desk. I’d give it 5 stars if the crown wasn’t so recessed. Rubber case is not like super soft silicone, it’s more like a softish smooth rubber and it’s very firm, feels rugged. And the buttons for removing bands are really nice, it actually makes it easier to remove bands. I have long nails so I was worried I was scratching the rubber but nope, it may leave a mark but it’s temporary and goes away. And the bit of aluminum is nice, polished mirror finish. I will say it collects finger prints very easily and loses like 5 maybe 10% of that mirror finish until cleaned, it almost looks alittle fogged, and that was after about an hour of having it on and playing with it alittle bit. And the side button is actually really nice to press, got a nice soft click. I will say tho, if u press on the far sides of it, it will feel like it didn’t press even tho it did, minor issue but still, might make you double click causing menu closing on u. The case sets such that the screen is recessed about 2mm, which sounds like nothing but it actually looks like a lot. I feel the only impact that would hit my screen is dropping into gravel where a small stone can make contact with screen, or smacking it on the corner of a desk. But nothing is going to protect it against that. Also, Though some ppl maybe feel differently, I like that it doesn’t come with a built in glass screen protector. I feel safe enough that I don’t think I’ll get one, but if u wanted, it looks like it would fit snug and seamlessly into the case without being noticeable, which is my biggest thing with screen protectors, so I might give it a try. My only major issue with it is the crown. I’m sure they meant for it to be recessed into the case for protection from hitting it, but it makes it harder to use. For example, I have no problem scrolling up or down on main screen to pull up notifications or smart stacks screens. But the notifications is a pain, I have to change the way my finger sets in order to close it. I have to lay my finger flat across the side of the watch and use the length of my finger to close rather then rotate the tip of my finger. Smart Stacks menu is fine tho. But I feel either exposing a bigger area on top and maybe making the crown slightly less recessed into case would help a great deal. Otherwise I’m a big fan of the case, best one I’ve been able to find so far for my standards. Before my 30 days is up for return I will determine if the crown scrolling is to much of a pain, but I feel I will be able to adjust.

I’m a sheet metal worker and this case is the only one that has lasted longer than a few weeks, I bought it 4 months ago and it’s still going strong. It has a few nicks but it’s extremely sturdy and I prefer to have the nicks in the case than my watch. It does make the Apple Watch Ultra bulkier but I prefer bigger watches so I don’t find that to be an issue (for size reference in the photos, I’m a woman and my wrist is 18cm/7in around).

Wenn Sie Ihre Ultra schützen wollen, und damit einverstanden sind, dass die Ultra noch etwas breiter wird, dann sind Sie hier richtig. Die € 60 müssen sie halt auch noch hinblättern. Aber Qualität hat halt seinen Preis. Die Ultra kostet auch etwa 900€ derzeit.

I love this case. It incapsulates your Ultra 1 or Ultra 2. I also bought display covers separately to protect the display from scratches. A wider (suited for 49 mm) watch band completes the case.
