The better unscented soaps, and better quality soaps, are very different from Dove. Don't get me wrong, this is still a decent option, but this soap leaves a film on your skin. It is not moisturizing, more like drying. You may need to wash extra to get rid of that film of soap. And it is not the fact that it is a bar of soap and not liquid soap. Other bar soaps are superior, it has nothing to do with being a bar, or liquid.
