Really good quality for the price. Looks as good as more expensive ones. Looks great in my nearly finished new kitchen. Works really well. Easy to use and easy to clean. Power is perfect. Extracts all the steam and smells from the pans. Light is lovely lit in the evening while cooking.

Great price and excellent extractor fan. Only drawback is that it’s noisy but I’m not going to complain as a fabulous buy and A++ rating.

Slight issue with the power which i had to get my friend the electrician in for. Not this product fault but the original house owners, as they had put a direct feed into the previous hood with a fused on/off switch in the wall below. This extractor come with either a kettle lead connection or a 3 pin plug. So sparky put kettle lead plug on direct feed then charged me £50 for doing so (git!) :D The exractor part of the hood went up fine but connecting the funnel at the top ended up was being a pain. Had to put both parts together and then tape them while staggered, so that when the bottom part was in, a) i could get the top part in without dislodging the bottom part and b) so i could slid the bugger up once i had the bottom part in place. Otherwise it slid down and i was unable to slid it back up again. Such is the cozy fit between them. Once i had figured that out, it was just a matter of screwing the top part of the funnel to the bracket supplied. Didn't screw the bottom part of the hood to the extractor a) didn't look good and b) its fits into groves at the bottom and is screwed in at the top, so its going nowhere, even without the screws. Looks good when installed. Only bug bear i have. Its loud and i mean even on lowest setting its alot louder than my previous one. Now this maybe becuase my previous one was crap at sucking up or the motor was slowly dying and we got use to it getting quieter, i dont know. Bit of a shock though when you turn it on for the first time on low and you have to raise your voice to be heard over it. Sucks alot better than previous hood and filters easy to fit / get hold of (at the moment) if you recycle the air into the kitchen. Didn't use the external hose bit that came with it. But if you vent externally, you will need something for the outside of the house, as this doesn't come with anything. So you could be caught short if you do, while fitting outside of normal DIY shows trading times...

I think this looks great, possibly a bit noisy but apart from that very pleased. My husband had no problem installing it and it works well

After reading the reviews I nearly didn't buy this, but after looking at branded more expensive hoods with not much better reviews I chose this as the duct kit and carbon filters came with it, and the reviews stated people either really loved or hated it, so we took a chance & for price thought it was a cheaper option if it was a bad buy. However, turned out to be a great choice, we have the 90cm black hood, and have used it now for 3 weeks, hubby found it very easy and straight forward to install, (replacing an old one) we have universal filters so use them as well as the carbon, the suction Is great on all 3 settings used as directed, the light looks good and really does look good as a back light on an evening, the motor noise is a lot quieter than the last hood we had up, it was noticed straight away. And finally it looks fantastic and finishes my kitchen off beautifully. All in all I'm extremely pleased we took a chance on this one, we've saved nearly £300 and feel it's a win win. So if like me your put off by the bad reviews, concentrate more on the good ones and listen to our experiences of this hood. Edit January 2026. This hood is still working as good as the first day it was installed.

so simple to use and to install, for what it is the price is very good too, its not heavy at all. i have a 90cm wide cooker and this fits perfectly above it. the color is nice and of a satin kind of finish. the extraction rate is very good, i wouldnt recommend it for a very busy kitchen though. for a small family its a great choice.

Cooker hood looks good but arrived with a dent in the flimsy stainless hood. Cooker hood needed to go in this weekend so no option but to install. Would not buy again.

The extractor fan has numerous levels on extraction speed/strength. The light is bright but not as bright as I would prefer. The main downfall of this cooker hood is trying to get replacement metal filters. Because they aren't a standard size, searching for replacements is difficult and the cost when finding are very expensive. I have had to order 2 new ones and they have cost me £32 direct from Ciarra (how convenient). So for that alone, I would not recommend the 60cm hood. It cost me half as much just for the 2 new filters than it did to buy the hood. I would not recommend this hood for that reason. Standard filters, for 2, are around £10 - £15.

Mooi en stevige afzuigkap, na 9 maanden werkte het lichtknopje niet meer naar behoren waardoor het ledverlichting niet aangezet kon worden. Per e-mail overleg gehad met Ciarra en vervolgens een filmpje per email doorgestuurd. Binnen een week had Ciarra zonder problemen een nieuwe afzuigkap opgestuurd. Wereldklasse! Uitstekende (after)service, daar kunnen een hoop fabrikanten nog van leren.

Produit parfait...un peu bruyant tt de même, mais efficace dès le 1er degré de ventilation. La lampe éclaire bien les mains,puisqu'elle est face à soi. Attention avec l'utilisation du plan fourni pour percer les trous des vis support. C'est une bonne idée,mais vérifier au fur et à mesure du perçage tt de même, qqs millimètres de décalage sont vite arrivés.

La campana funciona de maravilla: apenas hace ruido y la extracción de humos es muy eficaz. En nuestro caso usamos los filtros de carbón activo y el rendimiento sigue siendo excelente. Viene con todo lo necesario para una instalación sencilla, tanto si se va a usar con tubo como con filtro: incluye tornillería, instrucciones claras y una plantilla que facilita mucho la colocación. Una recomendación personal: revisad bien las alturas sugeridas para la instalación. Nosotros la colocamos inicialmente a la altura mínima indicada para placas de inducción, pero tras el primer día de uso, la bajamos unos 5 cm siguiendo otros consejos y el resultado mejoró notablemente. Durante los primeros usos, al hervir alimentos, notamos que la campana goteaba al finalizar. Gracias a comentarios de otros usuarios, solucionamos el problema ventilando mejor la cocina, subiendo la potencia gradualmente y dejando la campana encendida unos minutos tras terminar de cocinar (lo que tarda en servirse la comida, por ejemplo). En resumen, una excelente compra que cumple perfectamente con su función. Muy recomendable.
