Easy to assemble cuts well even when dump. Lovely mower for small gardens

I bought this to maintain a postage stamp sized lawn after the old mower failed. Chosen because of the name and the price. Out of the box, it was a bit fiddly to put together - pay attention to the instructions! I was a little disappointed with the build quality. As you might expect, it's now a made in China item and is appropriately flimsy - especially the cutting collection basket; I'm genuinely not sure how long it will last. That said, in use it was efficient and not too heavy. The mower offers 3 height settings which is a bonus, though selecting the middle setting proved difficult for me to start with. I think it will be fine for my small lawn but I recommend considering something more meaty for medium and larger areas.

What a heap of junk. So far, on first use, it cuts the grass, which is its primary function. But I have never bought a product so flimsy . It was a replacement for the excellent Flymo Chevron which wasnt in stock anywhere for about 10 days, so as Amazon described this thus 'There is a newer model of this item' I plumped for it. The grass collector is horrible to assemble, it is so badly made. The handle refuses to connect properly, the surround has already cracked, and the handle came off when I was trying to transport a full load to my compost heap, spilling half the contents over the path. The plastic is about as sturdy and useful as a baby's plate. Seriously no stars, apart from the fact the motor works. Rubbish, and Flymo should be ashamed of themselves.

Very good few bolts missing though

Easy to assemble. It's ok for small lawns . Cuts well enough but small grass box which has to be emptied a lot. Nice and light so easy to push and turn. Too small for our lawns but bought to quickly (next day) replace our old mower which died. Cheap and cheerful if you don't have high expectations. Build quality is typical of Flymo so a bit flimsy all round. Height adjustment is a bit of a pain but it works. No frills here.

I would write to critics first because its better to know the problems you will be facing. It doesnt work when moving backwards. Otherwise its good. Cuts at depth and roots as well sometime. Good for small garden. Not for big ones.

V disappointed. Worked fine for about 10 min then stopped and wouldn't restart. Have returned it.
