LIKE MANA FROM HEAVEN!
NOTE: I have not received nor do I have any financial interest in promoting this product. LINGUINE FINI #8!! As someone who is hooked on pasta, this is THE definitive pasta The order arrived well packaged and unbroken. If you like linguine but on a thinner side, this is THE pasta to get. It cooks up very well, has flavor and excellent texture (depending on how you like it cooked). And, it holds up very well with red as well as white sauces and retains its flavor. To bring this review to a short but sweet conclusion,...may I just add one word...……………………... ...YUM!! This is as definite BUY.

Really like linguini fini pasta. Hard to find in grocery stores.
It's hard to find linguini fini in grocery stores. So, I buy at Amazon or at local Italian grocery stores when in the area. Love the texture and flavor for just about any sauce.

Able to get this product through Amazon.
I am from Utica, New York and was able to buy this product at any grocery store. It is not available in North Carolina. I was grateful that I could purchase it on Amazon, although it is obviously more expensive than buying it up north. I like the quality and the shape of this pasta, which I use for a specific Homemade Italian sauce.

Short Expiration Date!
DeCecco is the best of the dried paste brands and this type - "Linguini Fini" - is one of the hardest to find. I had to buy a pack of 5 boxes at a cost of $16.23 or $3.25/ box! Ok, I wanted it and it's always more expensive than other types (shapes). However - when I happened to check the expiration date, it was 10/7/23 !!!! That's not right! - 2 months from the purchase date!!!! I don't blame Amazon. It's impossible to check everything about a product. I blame DeCecco, which I believe was simply trying to get rid of soon-to-expire product! The food industry in Italy is inundated with organized crime influence, especially the olive oil industry (TV news article on "60 Minutes" a few years ago). This is a deceptive product ad and sale at the very least. The item seem to be gone now. I'll only buy pasta "In Person" in the future.

Is De Cecco the best dry pasta?
I love De Cecco's pastas. Last night I tried their linguine fini with a simple EVOO and garlic sauce. It was just wonderful. In the last month, or so, I've tried their linguine, linguine fini, penne rigate, and orecchiette. All four are great. Let me make it clear that I do not consider myself an expert on pasta (or any other food, for that matter). But I've cooked a lot of pasta in my life and at least two things about De Cecco pastas stand out. First, I've always been advised that you only get one chance to flavor dry pasta and that is as it's cooking, so be sure to add plenty of salt to the water. It never seemed to make any difference before: no matter how much I added, I never tasted the salt. That's a big mistake with De Cecco pasta. This stuff does indeed absorb the salt flavor, and the sauce as well! Second, even when cooked according to package directions, De Cecco pastas will be more al dente than the normal store-bought pasta. Both the flavor absorptive and firmness of texture properties are claimed to be designed into the production process. Check out the De Cecco website for more details. So, is this the best dry pasta in the world? I don't know, but I'm never going back to store-bought. It costs more, but let's face it: no one is going to go broke because of the difference in price. Give it a try. Just be careful with the amount of cooking salt!

Been repackaged
I love this pasta but it appears to have been repackaged into a plastic bag. It is still a good deal compared to store prices and this is my favorite prepackaged pasta
