I've been using the RZ-09 for a little over a week now and I'm having a fantastic time, with the amount of precision I'm now guaranteed in the kitchen. I've used it every day to cook things like eggs, pork belly, burger patties, fish and chicken thighs.Complete with an app that ties to the wifi function on the device, you have ultimate control and monitoring capabilities. Need to change the temperature? Sure thing, do it on the app and keep binge-watching netflix. Need to extend the time? Easily done, right from your phone. It also comes with a series of recipes and guidelines to help you get used to the device and method of cooking. Plug in the recipe you want, hit the button and it starts cooking.As a recipe developer and chef, having something handling the protein to 0.2 of a degree, and having it come out so perfect allows me to focus on other details of the dish. Sous vide is something that should be a staple in home kitchens. The reason I bought this was because of the Wifi app. You can set it remotely. However it does not connect to your WiFi, read the Play Store reviews . Wish I had before purchasing. Obviously not updating the app. I will give it a few more goes otherwise it will be returned! No one else purchase this product unless the company fixes the issue. There are plenty of cheaper sous vide cookers on Amazon that don't use wifi I could of purchased. I picked yours for that particular reason..THE WIFI.. Update it has been returned..

This is quite an impressive sous vide wand - I got this after my Wancle died after 6 months.Only two complaints:1) I'm not keen on the clip - it's fine if you're using it with a contain that has vertical sides, but with a 12 litre polycarbonate container where the sides slope slightly the wand tilts backwards and doesn't sit on the base of the container. It's perfectly secure, but it does wobble a bit2) I can't get it to connect to wifi - I've tried rebooting the phone and the router, but no luck so far.

I wanted to have consistency in the cooking, and so i decided to buy this sous vide machine.I am AMAZED on how fish and steaks taste when cooking with this...I stopped cooking stakes in any other way...

Does what it should. Had no problems connecting the wifi. Build quality average. The app is average but enough to get the job done.For the price you can't go wrong.You can get to the element through a panel at the back, see the photo.Haven't had it long so don't know if it will last.
