Silvo Tarnish Guard All-Purpose Metal Polish 175ml - for Silver, Gold, Aluminum, and Electroplate

Veteran's around the world involved themselves in the ritual of Remembrance Day, or Armistice Day. This is the one day during the year where everything has to be perfect, including any earnt medals. Silvo polish & cotton buds are my preferred method of bringing my medals to their peak appearance. I admit that I used to use Brasso on some occasions, but Silvo is so much better for the medal surface, due to it's less abrasive method. I always go for this liquid version, rather than wadding because I can dip a cotton bud in to get to small & intricate areas, like edges and overlapping medals. On Court mounted medals, it's impossible to soak in a sonic bath, so this will always be the best alternative. Of course, Silvo is not just for medals, but these are my most treasured items, and deserve the best.

Used to use a jewellery shop to get silver chain cleaned. Not anymore, put a drop of this in a plastic container, dropped in my thick silver necklace, swirled it to cover all parts. 5 minutes later took it out, polished up easily removing dark residue/grime build up which was obvious to see the extent on the Polishing cloth. Put a bit bicarbonate of soda in a plastic container with small amount of water and a drop of washing up liquid. After a 2 minute swirl around over my submerged chain I removed and again polished up the chain. In less than 10 minutes it looks brand new and as good if not better than what a jewellery shop charges for. This bottle will last a very long time and is simply the best thing I've purchased in a long time. Great find.

I gave my pepper pots a quick go with this when it arrived and I’m really pleased with the result. With a little more polishing I suspect these pots will come up perfect. Good value for money and easy to use. Cleaning power is excellent! Before and after pictures provided as proof!

Does the purpose

I love this stuff...and it does work miracles. I am always pleased with how my silver looks after using this polish. Also, it is very easy to use and strenuous buffing is not needed.
