Brilliant in every way! Just what I need for the work in hand! So pleased, I will be seeking more of this great void filler. I was even more surprised by the delivery, which was promised between the 8th and 10th, but came today, the 5th. Great all round transaction … thank you very much!

Great little idea, and bought in two different sizes to seal under skirting boards. Top tip - if you have a newish house or extension, then frequently the plasterboard has been dot and dabbed against the brickwork but not sealed effectively. This was the case for us and lots of cold air was seeping in, so the two new rooms would cool down far quicker than the existing build. Effectively it didn't matter how well insulated the new build was, the draughts bypassed it. The Everseal backer rod can be squeezed into place and suddenly the cold air stops. I like it as it's not permanent - if I need to change something later on I can take it out (unlike say sealant or the expanding foam). And one further point - if you've got leaky skirting boards, check the light switches and fittings - we had clear draughts from both and bought a 70p car sponge from Wilko, cut it up and squeezed into the holes in the plasterboard - again it made an instant difference.

Packaging is not perfect but fine for what we needed it for

Worked a treat on my extension wall, remember to obtain a larger foam joint than the size of your gap, it compresses to about half its size approximately. The larger size will push in to the joint and holds its self in place giving a good seal, while you apply the appropriate sealant. It will also expand and contract with the gap.

Very useful for gap filling.
