I waited until I was able to field test the harness before writing a review. This thing is great! I tried the Aviator harness before this one and my bird absolutely hated it. It was so awkward to put on and my bird freaked out the entire time it was on his body. This harness takes a few seconds to put on and my bird settles down and is comfortable in it right away, even on the first wear. I did go ahead and rip the little bow off because I don’t like the look and he messed with it. He has been on multiple hikes and trips inside stores with this thing on. We had a few incidents where he flapped off my shoulder, but the Velcro holds up to his flying. The leash the harness comes with is also much better than the one that comes with Aviator, it can tighten onto your wrist and has a little silicon band to protect your skin. I will definitely be ordering a few more in different designs! My one critique would be I wish the Velcro used was just a little more heavy duty for peace of mind, and hopefully they come out with some new designs.

My tiel was too smart for this one. I had to buy a stronger one.

This harness allows for the best part of our cockatiels day. She feels the wind, bonds with us and neighbors, walks on grass and watches other birds. She would be lost w/o this. Trusted harness. She nibbles at straps at first but has gotten use to it. MUST BUY!

The leash attachment ring on the diaper ripped off within minutes. Glad I had the sense to test it indoors. Don't trust this to hold your bird, especially outside. Also he hates the diaper, but that was to be expected.
