This tub of cocoa and shea body butter was advertised as a whipped texture, but it arrived as a solid bar and I had to use the accompany spatula to scrape some out to apply to my skin, so I will dock a star for the inaccurate product description. The product also arrived with the seal partially ripped, likely from the enclosed spatula but it doesn't give me much confidence about the safety or shelf life of this product, so I will dock another star. I am a longtime user of cocoa and shea-based body butters so I appreciate the minimal ingredients that go inside this tub of body butter: unrefined shea butter, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, and vitamin E. According to the company, the cocoa butter is sourced fair-trade from Ghana which I greatly respect. The body butter melts really easily into the skin and leaves a very strong scent behind.

This body butter is really dense! It comes with a little spatula to pick up the product for use… great for avoiding contamination of the product from the oils in your hands… and it is thick! The little bit that you see in my photo is enough to spread over my hands. It softens my skin, and the fragrance of this body butter os wonderful! This is something I will be using on my arms, elbows, feet, especially my heels when they start getting dry and cracked in the summer. At the rate of use of this dense product, it should last a really long time! If you don’t remove the inner seal completely, as you see in my phot, you can easily store the spatula inside the jar. This prevents the used spatula from contaminating the product, and allows you to use the spatula over and over again. What a great price for this quality body butter!

It’s smells bad 😏 and it dry so fast on skin 😌 I don’t recommend it.

It was very good

I had to try it immediately & it literally smells like chocolate pudding :D It is really soft & feels very natural because it's very dense. It also doesn't feel anything close to sticky & immediately improved my dry areas !
