Meets its claimed performance admirably and had no trouble with starting a large V12 with a flat battery in seconds. Having done so it seems to have plenty of power stored in reserve to go again many more times. It takes a while to charge but overnight is sufficient to regain full charge from its mains-powered usb charger. Utterly safe, easy to use with weatherproof connectors. Small enough to be carried in the car in its own carry case to keep it all tidy and cheap enough for it to be a no-brainer for a car maintenance toolkit. Not a substitute for poor charging, end-of-life battery or serious battery drain issue but it will dig you out of trouble and seems rugged and well-built enough to last for years.

Wow! Only a few months ago, very few people had heard the name "Topdon," yet now, most of the favourite YouTube vehicle related channel presenters are using the brand, not all because of sponsorship deals, and I am delighted to say that this unit lives up to every positive comment and good review that the Topdon products have been given in the very short time since nobody had even heard of them. Mine was put straight to work the day after it had arrived, my older, and massively bulky, boost starter thing had failed to start my old Land Rover Discovery 300tdi automatic which had been standing on my drive for 14 months, its battery completely dead, following a spot of "failure to proceed," involving a power steering pump whose party trick involved emptying its oil in ever more embarrassing ways. So I found a good home for the old truck and the Topdon saw to it that the vehicle started after just two glow plug cycles and at the first turn of the key. My shock at this outcome was tangible, but the buyer was able to drive the old barge onto his trailer - pulled by a Disco 4 with a V8 and a soundtrack to match, I need one of those now😁 - and off he and my lovely 4x4 went, the deal prevented from going awry by Topdon! Now, as many Disco 1 owners will know, the 200 & 300 tdi are not the worst of Diesels to start after a long period of "rest," but even so, the product performs incredibly well and yes, all of the good things the we have been hearing about this new brand are true. Oh, and it comes in a very good quality carrying case, so no excuses for scratching it up in use! Have you got an old vehicle that refuses to start for any less capable device? Don't waste time looking at lesser devices, buy a Topdon JS 3000 and do the job properly. The old saying "buy cheap, buy twice" has never been more relevant, I wouldn't be without my JS 3000. What are you waiting for? Buy one of these now and take much of the stress out of participating in the bizarre hobby that sees otherwise sensible middle aged folk such as I refurbishing vehicles that are far more interesting than a new (insert pretty much any brand name here) car. Summary: Great build quality, far exceeds any expectations that I might have had of the device, easy to charge from domestic mains via its supplied 240v AC to USB C charger or a car via a lighter socket and a suitable lead terminating in a USB C, Capable of providing more boost / start cycles than any similar device I'd considered, tested and rejected Don't hesitate to buy one of these, I did and I'm now unapologetically a complete Topdon fan girl. Perhaps if I'd grown up playing with dolls instead of being drawn into the classic car world as long ago as the early 1970s, I might not be so evangelical in my appreciation of tech stuff? Can't believe how effective this battery charger is, from a completely flat van battery for two months to an immediate start with this product, easy to use, compact, good value and recommendation from garages, easy for women to use as well. Well worth£80 for long term use, I don't use the van every day so this product is ideal for me. Thanks very much.

This jump starter is brilliant, having worked in the motor trade for 33 years I've seen and owned a few jump starter packs including the Snap On brief case type which was very expensive at the time of purchase. I decided to test how many vehicles it could start on one full charge the TopDon JS2000 managed to start 9 vehicles with various states of battery charge from flat to 10 volts and it managed to start every single one of them first time which impressed me. The build quality is excellent and with me working in the motor trade I require products to be strong, hard wearing and reliable which this jump starter is, I also like it comes with a protective case to keep if safe from knocks in your tool box or in the boot of your vehicle. All in all this is worth every single penny I paid for it and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking for a jump starter. Well done TopDon for making an excellent product at a reasonable price. 5*

Essential in winter

Brilliant piece of equipment and was a life saver when I was experiencing issues with the electrics on my Defender which caused the battery to keep draining. Cannot recommend highly enough and this now goes everywhere with me - especially when I'm traveling solo and off-grid.

Very happy with this item. Bought the larger item so plenty of power to boost dead batteries, made easy work of starting the 2.4l diesel and the 3.2l petrol so very capable. Charges quickly back up to 100% via the supplied plug and USB. Seems robust and comes with detachable cables and a carry case, believe me if you're carrying this around on one of your vehicles this is a game changer. Easy to get in and out and not flying around everywhere. I have had quite a few different booster packs and this is the cheapest one I have purchased and up to now, the best. Very happy.

Just got one off here went see need charged no charging got red light flashing and make a high-pitched noise. Not charge. Bits miss. Also think bean returned before. What a replacement. No given me one just want refund me take up 14days very poor service had reorder one off eBay. Fingers crossed. One off eBay works and 149.99
