ELECROW 10-Inch Touch Screen Monitor for Raspberry Pi 5/4, PC/Laptop - 1280x800 Mini Monitor for Gaming and CCTV

I already have an Elecrow HDMI mini monitor, which has an excellent picture. I needed another one. I am also satisfied with this, it is what I expected. I was a little surprised by the 5V supply voltage, I would have preferred 12V, because I have all my other astronomical devices on 12V. Maybe 5V when using a Raspberry-pc (maybe others too) is not bad at all. The monitor is thin, so it is necessary to choose thin HDMI connectors.

This is an excellent monitor for the Raspberry Pi 5. No config changes needed and everything just worked including the touchscreen. The instructions suggested you might need to change some details in a config file but this was not the case with the Pi 5 and latest OS. The touchscreen is responsive and accurate and the image quality is excellent. I'm using it to display a smart hone dashboard Sharp Tools and its perfect. There is an adjustable brightness button allowing the screen to get really bright, but I set it to 20% which is plenty for my use case. The stand which comes with it isn't great but I 3D printed one out to fit. The included cables are a little long when using the Pi mounted to the back but I changed them out for shorter ones and glued cable tie anchors to the back of the screen for cable management.

I connected this to a Raspberry Pi 4B and it's working great! Took a bit to get the RPi to see it properly, but I plugged into a 5 and it worked perfect. On the 4, the older drivers just needed a quick update. (config.txt). Touch is responsive and consistent across the face, and it looks great. I used the screws on the back to mount the RPi as well - worked just as it should.
