This is a really fun game for new couples, as well as couples that have been together for a long time. The cards come in a nice box with instructions, two heart shaped scratchers, and three types of cards.The conversation starters are great prompts to break the ice. While some questions wouldn't work on a first date or a very young relationship, most can apply to all couples. The Do You Really Know Your Partner questions are interesting because you share what you know of how your partner thinks and feels. Both types of cards are great for learning something new and better understanding any misconceptions.The date cards are nice because you have basic prompts at the bottom of the card that tell you whether the activity is indoors or outdoors, how long you can expect to do the activity, cost range, and the time of day you would do it.All the cards are the same size and have the same color pattern, so it can be easy to get the three types mixed up. The green header and footer are easily visible on the edge of the card, so we organized them so that the green border and white edge separate groups of cards. There isn't enough room in the box to rubber band all three of the groups of cards, but you can do one. That is where we put the cards we've already gone through.I do like this and recommend trying it out! At $20, I think its worth it the first time you learn something new or have a fun moment together, and there's definitely many more opportunities for that in these decks!

This a a set of cards to use as a couple. The card deck comes in a sturdy box and the cards are plastic coated and sturdy. There are two cards with instructions, and the others are of three types: date cards where you choose a date category (e.g.. travel), time commitment (e.g. two hours), and cost ($10-$20). The kit has two small plastic hearts to use to scratch off the surprise date assignment. THese can be re-used, but the date won't be a surprise on subsequent uses. The other cards are conversation starters and questions. These are in two categories, but I see both of them as giving couples a reason to talk about things that might be difficult to ask without the card, or won't naturally come up in conversation. I didn't find the questions or conversation starts to be incredibly deep or usual, but I did appreciate the chance to discuss these things. In all, I wouldn't see this as a game, but as a chance to pick a couple of cards and have some quality conversations. I wouldn't pick them at random, but sort through and pick one that you would like to discuss but wouldn't have thought or been brave enough to bring up yourself. I'd recommend this for young adults and up.

I received this through the vine program and thought it would be fun for me and my partner to use for fun date night ideas when we run out of our own. They are cute and some of the questions about how well you know one another seem a bit basic. I would say this is probably better suited towards a couple who are just starting to date. That being said there are some fun and cute things in there.

They always teach you the key to making any relationship work is communication. Well with peoples busy schedules including mine in my home makes it really hard to make time or at least remember to so you can communicate to your partner. Now that doesn't mean complain about your day etc, I mean really connect. I believe things like this can be a true help to a relationship so you sit down and talk about things maybe you wouldn't think to. I know we been doing it a few each night so far and I'm really loving this set of cards. Me and my husband have been married 2 years and together 4 years and I feel like it will work for newer couples just as well as older couples because it just gets you talking. I do recommend this and I'm going to continue using this even though we only do a few a night its still a way to communicate with busy schedules. It comes in a nice little box which makes storing them so easy without losing them and these 2 little hearts I loved seeing in the box when I took them out and had no idea it came with a scratch card in it for us that was a nice surprise. Also in this box you get ideas for date nights so if your running out of ideas this will help. I honestly think this touches base all the way around at rekindling or keeping that fire burning with being in love with your partner and getting to know them everyday.

These cards are GREAT! We have used other conversation starters in the past for road trips or hard days when we find one another distant and they have all been good to change the mood but these were able to open up more on topics we haven’t talked about in a while as well as lead to other scenarios off topic from the car we just read.We’ve been together for a little over 10yrs now and sometimes we occasionally catch ourselves being so caught up in our daily routines with or careers that we start running on neutral. Which is something we both aren’t comfortable with, so we got into these types of cards to dial it back to us. We never knew we needed it until we tried it.Off of just our first 2 cards pulled, it led us into a whole 1.5hr conversation of stories we heard before from one another but we haven’t thought of since years ago. We reminisced on those conversations as well as how our train of thought has leveled up since, then all the things that got us from then to now.We haven’t got to the dating scratch offs just yet but we’re planning on getting to it this week.If you feel like your relationship is going stale or running on neutral, try these. It works for us. But a word of caution lmbo, these questions also revolve around, “How well do you know your partner?” So if you don’t think you know them to well. I would suggest diving deeper before doing these. Juuuust in case it goes the wrong way. Lol.
