I have had quite a rough time for a few years and I really needed a way to get a lot of feelings out and I tried journalling before but it never quite stuck. It started with a sort of writers block but I've found that using writing prompts or dedicating pages to memories works so well. I've got some pretty washi tapes I've used to keep tickets to things I've enjoyed or recipes. It's more than just the book of all the things that bother me to a book of me and my life. It's made it easier to write about things that bother me too. The magnet is holding the book together great, even after lots of tape and pictures weighing it down. You deserve a beautiful journal to keep your thoughts in, that makes you look forward to writing more!

A very nice hardback journal. Purse style closure. Gold foil embossed floral design. Plain pages. Only thing missing is a ribbon book mark. Very pleased with this purchase

I bought this journal because I had bought another one from the same Company. (Old World Journal) The magnetic closure is very handy and the japanese theme is very elegant. The lines as well as the book itself are just the right size, allthough I miss the quotes I loved so much from the Old World Journal. This is the only reason it gets 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this item to anyone who needs a great journal and who wants to have an elegant and beautiful look to it. Great Product!

This journal is so pretty I haven't even dared write anything in it yet. I just love looking at it! You feel like you have to treat it respectfully, with neat handwriting and high end pen. A journal made for total safe keeping, not for scribbling and forgetting. Note to self: would make a beautiful present, what with all the various designs.
