Not happy
Would have been nice to have more than 2 whole spikes to use instead of pieces

Quality is good
I’m sure they’re working already on our tomato plants!

This is the only fertilizer I ever use for my tomatoes. They grow and produce fruit like crazy when using this product. Three spikes per tomato plant will last all season. Excellent product. Look at these pictures. These are a short Bush Roma tomato plant. I got over 50 lb last year with six plants using this fertilizer.

Simple to use: just push a couple into the earth near the tomato plant, and forget about it for a few weeks. This fertilizer is highest on Phosphorous (for roots), so it is primarily for promotion of root growth early the in the plant's growing cycle. Once the tomato plant is flowering and producing fruit, it might be best to supplement with a more traditional "Tomato Feed" fertilizer, one that is higher on Potassium (for vigor and fruit) and perhaps also Nitrogen (for leaves).

I've never used fertilizer before. I put them in the soil but in all honesty I'm not sure that they're doing anything. My tomatoes are coming in but not as much as I had expected according to from reading the other reviews. I don't think it did any harm but I really don't know if it helped either.
