I know that there are cheaper engine air filters sold on Amazon but it is good to know that this one is from the factory that supplies GM/Chevy with their parts. One item to note: There's 2 philips screws holding down the plastic cover where you have to slide in the air filter. The cover is not completely removable because the plastic air hose is still attached so you have limited play to slide in the new air filter. If you ordered the wrong filter then you might not be able to get it into the air filter housing.
