The airlines have tightened up on baggage so having an accurate scale is a no-brainer. This scale is accurate and easy to use plus it doesn't weigh much at all. Make sure you measure the inches of your carry-on, checked bag or personal bag. 2026 has new restricted weight and size restrictions.

This luggage scale is lightweight and easy to use—great for avoiding overweight fees at the airport. The display is clear, and it’s compact enough to carry around. That said, it sometimes gives slightly different readings when weighing the same bag multiple times. I suggest using it as a guideline, but not relying on it down to the exact ounce.

When you like to purchase souvenirs during your travels, like I do, this handy little scale is a wonderful helper. No more opening our suitcases at the airport and figuring out which items to move into our carry-on bags. Very accurate. We now always bring it with us.
