Did the job perfectly. I had put the ferrule into hot water to soften it because my stick was on the borders of 12mm,but being rubber that worked pretty well and made a nice tight fit. Time will tell if it splits because of the tight fit. I will report if that happens quickly.

I purchased a shooting stick and it needed to put a rubber stopper on the spike and this fitted perfectly

I had noticed my hiking pole slipping on hard surfaces and discovered the end cap had worn through. Measured the cap and bought these. I was extremely pleased to find they fit my hiking pole and they were so easy to put on. I didnt have to strongly pull the top wider to snap back at all. They just pushed on easily. I was so pleased about this as I am an older female with decreasing strength.

That a ferrule is provided with the shooting stick but spares may be useful in the future.

I have bought several of these ferrules from this site and always been pleased. The items arrive very promptly and are packed well but still small enough to be posted through the letter box. The ferrules are a good quality. I use them on my trekking pole when I walk my dog each day through woods and farm land. They are very durable and long lasting. I would recommend them.

Bought these to go onto a shooting stick. The point of the stick came through after about a week. I think this was because my husband sat on the stick on soft ground which forced the point through. Have bought some more and will see how long these last.
