Well built, many reviews on this. Wanted to comment on 4 things I saw in the negative reviews. Leg locks twist in a logical direction, lefty loosy. The only way I see to get the twist insert to malfunction is to just keep loosening it consistently. My 9yr old maneuvered the legs with no problem, so that one is user error. The bag fits the pod with the death grip on perfectly, but the bag is directional, so if you insert it the wrong way it won’t fit…again user error on the negative bag reviews. The reviews about the knobs not being intuitive, I just don’t get this, they’re different sized and placement, very intuitive even in the dark; my kids were able to move and tighten the gun in the dark just fine. Lastly the reviews about stripping the ball head screw are spot on however. The issue is that you never know when the ball is tight because the ball gripper is plastic and not machined to the ball. It’s constantly feeling tight and then the gun tilts. So after using it a while my instinct was to keep torquing down the ball head screw. My guess is it strips eventually and the ball head will need replaced. One overlooked plus of the carbon is if you hit it while hunting it doesn’t make that ping sound of aluminum, so big plus with the carbon. Taking off one star for the ball head.

I bought this for my husband’s birthday. He was so excited he played with it for hours the day it came in. After he set it up, he took pictures and sent them to his brothers and several friends bragging about it. He can’t wait for vacation to ho use it. It is made with premium parts and it’s extremely sturdy. It moves yo any position you need it to and locks into place. You can raise it to a good 6 1/2- 7 foot.

Well made, durable, and useful for steady shots, and is part of my regular pack out. Good for stand work, ground shooting and steady long shoots. Weight is a consideration and rucking is not for the faint, yet makes for an essential requirement for a steady smooth shot and ethical takedown.

Light weight and easy to set up. It’s a good looking tripod that grips the rifle well.
