Brilliant reception & very easy to set up

Worked very well, be aware that you need an external drive in order to pause or record programs

I have returned it: The first problem was a loud hum on the audio which was reflected in the picture by what I used to call 'hum bars' across the picture, I guess I do still call them that, but they were a distant memory before I tried this unit - not what you expect of modern electronics! The user interface and recording/timeshifting function is also 'clunky' and very limited. Yes you can watch another channel while recording a programme, but only if that channel is on the same multiplex, so a very limited choice. All in all it is simply too cheap, I would have happily paid more for something that worked.

Simple to set up and picked up lots of channels upon first scan. Connects via HDMI or SCART I did find the EPG a little dated looking and the manual was not that easy to follow. I consider myself technically minded so for me it was not a difficult task to get it working but I am not sure if less technically minded uses would have such luck A couple of times it did not seem to want to power on. It was plugged into a alexa enabled plug that is set to turn off at night. I could only bring it back to life by physically switch everything off at the socket to bring it back to life which is frustrating

This item is perfect for what we needed it for, free view television and it also records and plays back, and we bought it for use in our caravan, we are really pleased with the item and would recommend it to anyone.

Standby mode does not work properly. Turn the appliance on test the remote tune it in and ready to go except use the remote to put the appliance into stand by and the next time I come to switch it on using the remote nothing... the same using the standby switch on the front. The only way I could get the appliance back on was to use the on off switch on the back.
