I'm really happy with this back shaver. I wanted something that was close than just a normal shaver that still leaves a little stubble. I'm really happy with this product for that reason. The twin blades works really well to give me the smooth back shave that I like. I purchased the green one, and it comes with a 2cd set of blades, and I can reorder the blades as needed, and they're not expensive. The shaver itself is lightweight, and easy to use. With the handle being shaped as it is, it works perfectly to shave my entire back myself and not miss any spots. I've used it twice now, and haven't gotten the first nick from the blades, and it is so easy to do in the shower. Takes just a few min. If you're a hairy guy, you might want to have someone trim the hair down 1st since this is a razor. Luckily I didn't have to do that, and have gotten a smooth shave both times I've used it. Would definitely recommend this shaver.

I bought this razor a few months ago. There seem to be a ton of options for this type of product but the features and perceived quality of the Back Shaver is what made my final decision. Turns out that I made the right decision! I received the shaver and found it extremely easy to use. The shape of the handle make it easy to maneuver and the results are very smooth with not one cut. My skin took a couple of times to get used to it but, now, I use it about every two weeks with no issue. I think the best advice I can give is to not press too hard. You might think you need to but just let the shaver do the work.

I read the instructions and used the product exactly as intended. It takes many passes to make any progress at all, and gives horrible razor burn along the way. I have never gotten razor burn on any part of my body before, including using other back shavers. But this one figured out how to make it happen. I used the product once, realized it was making little progress at shaving my back, and decided to return it. Don't waste your money on this. Also, the blades that come with it are literally just safety razors put into a plastic casing that holds two razor cartridges side by side. They could just as easily make it so that it comes with one plastic casting and make the razors replaceable, which would be better for the environment and better for the users of the product, but they chose to make it only use their razors instead, requiring you to keep purchasing their plastic casings with them. 0/10 would not recommend.

I really do. I've got lycanthropy (lucky me). This razor works ok, but you have to go over the same areas over and over and over. By the time you get close to being done, your skin is a mess. Weeks later and I still have little bumps on one side that are still there from the razor and I wasn't even able to get all the hair. Got most, but It just couldn't get a complete shave. Maybe my wife can use it on me and see if she can do better. If not, I'll just have her use a regular razor.

I have been struggling for years to get the hair off my back. This Metablade Back shaver is perfect for me. I can reach every part of my back. It is smooth now and my skin is never irritated from the blade. The blade fits perfectly in my hand and goes over all the curves in my back without getting all twisted to shave it. It is easy to clean. I wish I would have known about this product years ago. And it is inexpensive!
