The supplied bolts that connect the bracket to the ceiling fitting are too long by about 15mm. I had to spend 10 minutes with a Dremel carefully removing sections until the fit was correct.The fitted lamp does hang as pictured, the clearance between the shade and the ceiling is only about 2 cm.The shade itself is as described and very nice its just a shame it doesn't have the drop and fitting was not a easy as it should have been.

Bought awhile ago but just hung in newly decorates room. Love it. Only downside is that the central spindle slightly short so top edge almost touching ceiling not as shown in photo.

Product was as described. The main problem was with the screws fixing the rose to the ceiling bracket. They were too long,so had to have about 6mm cut off the ends to ensure a tight fit to the ceiling. Not what I was expecting for a price paid. Looks good now it is properly mounted.
