very handy little item
A nice little kettle, very quiet to use and can boil certainly enough for up to three proper sized mugs, and within a reasonable amount of time, I just had time to wash a sinkful of breakfast items whilst it boiled. It comes complete with two, probably industry standard sized, melamine travel "mugs" which is a bit of a misnomer because they are more like dolls cups, although obviously they are made to fit inside the kettle in transit, but we didn't expect normal sized mugs when we ordered the kettle, so not a problem at all. There is a lightweight "sack" to protect the kettle whilst travelling, which we will use on our next trip to France. It doesnt weigh a great deal, and the design is "oval" to make packing easier. Very handy economical way of avoiding exorbitant hotel kettle hire charges on the continent. The item did arrive a day late, which was not a problem at all, and the sellers were extremely good with their communications, they emailed me to alert me to the delay in sending the item out and apologised in advance. Kudos!

Good Value Product
I bought this travel kettle to take on holiday to Turkey recently, as I know that hotels there don't provide such things and I can't do without my morning cuppa when I wake up! It's nice and light, so good for taking on the plane, has two plastic cups which fit inside, and it's own travel bag. It's a decent size and easily holds enough water for 4 of the plastic cups. The cups are a little small, but the whole package is very convenient. The kettle was used constantly during the week we were away and gave excellent service. The only downer I would mention is that once it boils it goes on and on for ages before it cuts out, so maybe a slight glitch in the timing. Otherwise, we're very pleased with our purchase.

PERFECT.
I bought two of these for my upcoming holiday, one for us to use and one for another family member, here is a quick review: PRO’s: * Great size, not too large even for its 0.9L capacity. * Boil time is very good. * No taste difference to tea etc. * Has an auto cut-off feature which is very important as previous purchase did not. * Comes with two small cups included. * Comes with nice travel bag included. * Good value for money. CON’s: * None, an extremely good buy.

Great little kettle
Good design, extremely well made and very compact. Excellent colour match of cream with a grey lid. The cups are a good size which fit neatly inside the travel kettle. My only criticism is that the lead is not detachable for ease of packing, otherwise it would be perfect. Was very sceptical of ordering this item initially because of the stated size of 54cm x 44.5cm x 20.5cm. This equates in real money to a staggering 21.25" high x 17.25" wide and 8.25" deep, the size of a baby elephant. However the actual size is a very acceptable 20cm high x 17.5cm wide x 9cm deep [ 7.875" x 6.875" x 3.565" ]. Yes the lead is short 66cm long [ 26" ] but it is after all a travel kettle so why do you need a mile of cabling when you are travelling abroad and space is tight. If you need the extra length you could always purchase a cheap extension lead abroad for a couple of euro's. In use it is very quite and takes 2-3 minutes to boil. Yes in the USA it takes considerably longer but they use 110v as opposed to the rest of the world that uses 220v. It is not the fault of the kettle.

Great little gadget - incredible price!
There's nothing more disappointing (at least for a Brit) that arriving in a hotel room to find no tea and/or coffee facilities, and I refuse to forego my morning tea! Most European hotels provide them these days but a hotel we stayed in in Egypt back in 2008 did not, so, after unpacking, we went out in search of a cheap electric kettle. There were no small kettles so we bought a normal size - we weren't bothered about bringing it back, a couple of mugs, and some packs of tea bags, etc. It's not the first time we've done this when facilities we've expected to be provided have not been, leaving me wishing I'd had the foresight to pack them. Now, I have no excuse. This little kettle with its mugs and carry bag are perfect -light, compact, amazing value and will be at the top of my packing list from now on. It's excellent value!

Excellent value
This is a cracking little product for the price, compact and handy. My only slight reservations involve a non-interchangable plug (it comes with a British 3-pin one permanently attached - but hey, it's only a tenner and I have any number of adaptors for various systems around the world). Boiling time isn't bad at all for such a small element, and the little cups are a thoughtful inclusion. Yep, very pleased with it. As a postscript: I am delighted with this product. I do need my Yorkshire tea in the mornings, and this proved an invaluable addition to my suitcase for a recent trip to Portugal.

Great little kettle
I was unsure about the kettle based on some of the reviews but I thought I would risk it for the price as it also seemed to suit our needs the best. The kettle boils in a good time and holds a decent amount of water for a travel kettle. We had no problems with the auto shutoff (though you could have turned it off yourself a little sooner) and there was no problems with water splashing or anything like that. I got it to heat up baby milk and food pouches and just popped the cup or pouch into the water after it was boiled. It did the job perfectly for our holiday. It comes with a handy travel bag too to keep everything together and clean.

Travel kettle
neat oval design which will pack well. Cups very small but I had larger ones from my old kettle which fitted inside this kettle. Good for travel or for use in campervan if on electric hook up. Boils quickly on 240v not tried it on 110v yet. Be careful when pouring out hot water as steam emits from the back of the lid so could burn hands. We use it for that early morning cuppa and is good for that. Cable too short could do with an extra couple of feet in length. All in all quite satisfied with this product.
