Brilliant laptop
Brilliant laptop for how cheap it is. Starts up everytime and never lags! Very lightweight and easily set up. Really really happy with this purchase as it’s hard to find a laptop that doesn’t lag

Ideal for students and basic tasks
Bought at £279 with a crystal clear 17" screen standard screen (not touch enabled), excellent battery life, top notch keyboard, quick start-up, speedy lightweight low power N6000 quad core Pentium Silver and not too weighty (2kg) for a laptop of this size this is an excellent low cost option for students and simple online tasks. For the more experienced users Linux can be added to allow free onboard software to run without the need for an online connection (Open Office, etc) using YouTube tutorials at no extra cost. Ideal for typing up assignments and papers, online research, YouTube, Prime Video, etc. The machine is supported under Chromebook updates scheme for years to come at present and so will be ideal for school, college and university usage for most students. Coupled with a cheap refurbished desktop Windows machine for more heavyweight use and you're set for almost any work and acedemic task at a fraction of the price of a high spec 17" Windows laptop only.

Decent
Had this for about two months. Screen is nice and big. Screen is vivid and clear. Sound is quite loud, which is good. This Chromebook has a habit of randomly muting itself, with no obvious cause or remedy, but fixes itself after a restart. Any significant amount of time spent scrolling results in slowdown, to the point where videos struggle playing, but it's fine after restarting. Overall I enjoy this machine, considering the price, and have a great time watching movies on it, and using Google Docs.

Solid Chromebook
At £305, I consider this a bargain providing you're happy to work in the Google ecosystem. With a 17" screen, it is a bit too heavy to work on your lap for extended periods and so this is best suited to sit on a desk. The screen is a TN panel, a very good one at that rendering in HD, but it can't compete with an lPS panel for clarity and viewing angles. It really is a laptop best suited to just getting the job done with minimum fuss. Although it only has 4gb of memory this is more than adequate for ChromeOS and it will also run Linux software successfully. Battery life is about 8 hours in the real world but as it's designed to sit on a desk you could just plug it in. All in all its a very good no frills laptop. Please note that this model is not a touch screen.

Great, compact laptop for basic browsing and word processing.
Great little laptop. No SSD or hard drive (uses emmc memory), so data is quite slow to transfer - but this is fine and it's not meant to be that kind of computer anyways. For basic browsing etc mostly only.

Well worth the money...
This is a large laptop. A little strange to say this but, I have had 17" laptops before. A Mac, but this one seems very large. I use my laptops now for surfing and very little else. I am placing my beloved Macs into storage and using the numerous Chromebooks we have. To be honest as long as my networked printer can connect, it does. There is very little reason to have to purchase Windows or Macs for the future. I think it is of good value, I like Asus products, I have other Chromebooks from this manufacturer and have been very pleased with them all. You will have to reassess your typing a little more to the left just because of the sheer size of the keyboard. I have pressed the wrong key on a number of occasions. I like it, I have inserted a micro SD card of 256gig and a 64gig thumb drive but in all honestly there is not much reason to do so. I recommend the laptop to each and all. Happy surfing everyone...

Good quality
This is my first time buying a bu on this website, and I would not like to meet I wanted to buy a new one and ordered it quickly without even reading it. It just turned off and didn't even turn on.I had to go back and buy the same new one. I want to say the seller depended on the price of such a bu I paid for a new one. The experience is bad, even if it depends on the guarantees It's not profitable to send it all the time to repair and you're left without it. When work and study depend on a computerThe seller was kind and understood the situation Let me turn it off, which pleases me, and thank you

Not the best but does the job. Very basic.
As title says for the money you get what you pay for. Honestly if I wasn't using it just to watch the odd football game or to browse the web occasionally maybe like once or twice a week, I would paid more for something a lot better. The speaker is rubbish and the web browser is slow, also it glitches out sometimes when I am scrolling on google. The screen is small and the display very blurry, which doesn't help with my poor eyesight (I have to squint to read it) then when I zoomed in everything became too big and focused (Due to the screen size) I came from using a Macbook Air and this was a massive downgrade. No wonder apple is better than android or google. Invest your money somewhere else or you will be disappointed. Yes it's cheap but it's also crap at the same time.
