I absolutely love the LEGO Great Wave set — it’s one of those builds that feels like art from start to finish. It looks amazing on display and gets compliments every time someone walks by. The app-based instructions were smooth and actually made the build more fun, and once it’s hung up it feels solid and secure. LEGO did a fantastic job turning an iconic artwork into bricks — relaxing to build, beautiful to look at, and totally worth it.

I bought this for my partner and they absolutely loved building this set. They spent days happily seated at my dining room table building this wall art. The lego app works great on an Ipad, so instructions were super clear and they had far less issues than I do with my random mould king kits. We've moved it around the house a few times and it's still solid as a rock. So no worries about a slight touch breaking it back into a million pieces.

Purchased for 15 yr old and she loved! Great to work on a little at a time, so many days of enjoyment and watching picture come to life. Nice size that makes a beautiful wall display.

As someone who builds a lot of Legos, I’ll admit this set was a bit tedious at times. But still really fun and satisfying once it all came together. The final Wave painting looks incredible, and it was surprisingly easy to hang. It’s a unique display piece that adds a modern, creative touch to the room. Definitely worth it.

I have generally become enamored of some of the more elegant display pieces LEGO has produced in recent years, but this is my favorite so far. It's a really creative rendition of the classic woodblock painting, with a lot of depth and texture, but it's also designed to be hung on your wall. They really thought about the structural engineering needed to make that work, and it can be hung with two nails. Additionally, the picture and the frame/mat are pieced separately and then joined together, so if you want a different color mat or frame, you can just order bricks in the right color (with the help of the pieces list in the back of the book) and redo the frame to match your decor. I'll be ordering some black bricks to make it looks like a basic gallery frame and match the rest of the artwork I have in my house.

It’s exactly what my Grandaughter wanted for Christmas. She is very happy.

Took me and my group of 4 friends around 2 hours to complete and we had alot of fun assembling it. The price is a little high but it looks beautiful once completed. There are several additional details that deviate from the original painting such as the birds.

I absolutely loved building this set. It is now proudly hanging on my living room wall and it looks fantastic. The 3D design really stands out and gives the artwork depth that you do not fully appreciate until it is finished and mounted. The build itself was average in difficulty overall, but the background section with the small circular pixel style pieces definitely requires patience and strong attention to detail. That part takes time and focus if you want it to look just right, but it is also very rewarding once completed. I genuinely enjoyed every moment of building this set. It was relaxing, engaging, and satisfying from start to finish. If you enjoy detailed builds and want a display piece that feels like real art, this one is worth it.
