Not working and the handle kept falling

I have to say I'm quite surprised that Amazon sell such a badly designed item. I found it extremely difficult to use as there are no suction pads to hold it steady and even on my normally non slip surfaces it moved around despite my caution using it. Caution is certainly required as there is a sharp cutting blade with no safety measures in place. There are three different points that have to be controlled by your own hands while slicing. The bread itself has to be held the crank also and the base that the bread sits on. As for slicing bread that was hardly a success. On the wider setting slices were paper thin. I regret this very negative review but could not recommend it.

My grandmother in Germany had one of these and I loved it and this is just like it only in plastic which sucks, but its slices sourdough bread great! Better than the hand slicing. The only thing is the suction cup for the countertop could have better suction as well as it should, you have to play with it otherwise, I still give it a five! It took pretty long to get here!

Très pratique et coupe très bien. Le reproche serait qu'il manque un système de poussoir, pour ne pas se couper un morceau de doigt lorsque on découpe du saucisson ou autre aliment :-) et un autre système qui permettrait de maintenir l'appareil fermé. Pour le nettoyage ce n'est pas forcément très pratique pour les miettes qui se coincent. A part cela je suis satisfaite je coupe en majorité du pain fait maison et la lame coupe parfaitement.

Aunque sea de plástico, esta cortadora de pan tiene una cuchilla afilada que corta el pan fantásticamente. Tiene una ventosa a la parte inferior que hace que se sujete a la mesa y no se mueva al usarla, así como un regulador para modificar la anchura del corte. Es ideal para cortar el pan como lo cortarías en la máquina del supermercado o en la panadería, pero con el pan hecho en casa, así que le doy 5 estrellas.
