Electric Motors and Drives: Fundamentals, Types and Applications

I got this for a bit of quick familiarisation with the subject when starting work on a project to develop a new safety controller for use with modern industrial drives. As a software engineer I found it very readable and it helped me a great deal in understanding the essentials of electric motor control.

Very good book for those who want to learn about how an induction motor work!

Excellent book, really goes into things in depth. If you have a report to write, this should be your first port of call.

For my level of study a very informative book about motors, and well explained. My gripe is that pages started to fall out after not much use and no rough handling.

Great book, easy reading. Would make a perfect reference book any one working around rotational machinery even technicians, electricians and engineers!
