They are a hard plastic, slightly flexible. I took them off the cupcakes and wiped them clean they still looked perfect no paint smeared or anything. Now my son is enjoying them as toys. I would recommend 👌

Toxic Oder
I got these for my sones birthday once open there was a strong and toxic Oder to these small figures I washed them with soap and water and the Oder went away .
