When I bake, I look up weights for the ingredients and write them on the recipe. It is so much easier and more accurate to weigh the ingredients instead of scooping them in a cup. It is especially good for messy ingredients like peanut butter or honey because you don't have to clean out a measuring cup. This scale is easy to use and has easy-to-read numbers.

I generally really like this scale; however, there are two things that bother me. First, to turn it off, you have to hold the "Power/Tare" button for several seconds. I didn't think that would be a big deal when I read the descriptions, but it turns out that it kinda bothers me. When I'm cooking something that requires me to move quickly, that extra few seconds feels annoying to me. Yes, I could just leave it on and let it eventually turn off automatically (after two minutes), but I don't like wasting battery life. Second, the tare button has a sequential function that I also find somewhat annoying. Other scales that I've used have a tare button that simply resets the scale to zero so you can add something to the container and know the weight of what you've added without having to calculate the weight of the container and then subtract it. This scale has a feature that one press of the tare button serves this function for the first item you add; however, when you're ready to add the second item and press the tare button a second time, it won't zero the scale...instead it gives you the current total weight (weight prior to the previous tare plus the newly added item)...you have to press the button one more time to tare to zero to measure each successive item. No, this isn't a huge issue, but it is something that I find a little frustrating, especially when I'm rushing and timing is important. But again, generally, I really like this scale, and it does a great job...especially when I'm not in a rush.

I havent tested the accuracy because I dont have standardized weights, but this scale is really intuitive and easy to use. I love how the surfaces are easy to clean since there arent any weird corners for food to get stuck in, and the raised rim ensures that whatever youre weighing wont roll off the scale mid-measurement. Definitely worth the price and I honestly dont have anything bad to say about it.

I love this scale. It seems to be accurate as my sourdough bread comes out perfect every time. It's easy to change weight options and zero out to add ingredients. I like the design as it accommodates different bowl sizes.

It's hard to put into words, how much I'm enjoying this scale. My sister is "the baker" in our family because she was seemingly born with the ability to produce magically perfect pastries and baked goods. This thing has helped me level the playing field a bit. Outstanding value for the money. Lightweight, and its compact size/shape makes it easy to stash upright against the inside of a cupboard. Because I can go weeks between uses when not baking for the holidays, I store mine in the cabinet with the battery outside of the unit. The battery will never leak inside of it then, and you'll literally go a year or two between battery changes.

Don't know how long it will last. But so responsive, still stable in its measurements. I love it. Not beautiful though 😉

Buscaba una báscula que no estuviese delimitada por los bordes, como lo son la mayoría de básculas de cocina por motivos que desconozco. El tener esos bordes, limita mucho lo que puedes medir, ya que si pones un plato más o menos grande, este apoya en los bordes y no en la superficie de pesaje. Esta, tanto por evitar ese problema como por lo que ofrece, una bascula de cocina sin florituras, simple, eficaz y barata, me parece la mejor que se puede comprar. Como se puede ver en las fotos, es totalmente precisa, incluso comparándola con una de precisión, se acerca bastante más de lo que era esperable para este tipo de básculas, que son más "brutas". Muy recomendada.

I love this scale, it tally's up ingredients if you add to it which is a function I never had available with other scales before. It is sturdy and I can clearly see the display when I have a large bowl on it. I use it for baking. More than I expected for the price I paid - I have bought expensive digital scales in the past and this is one is just as good, actually better as the display is well positioned so you can actually see the display - this has been the issue with the more square ones I have bought in the past where the digital display is imbedded at the end -it is often not visible when you place a larger bowl on them
