Quick lacing makes them very easy to put on and take off. Comfortable, have a good grip on most surfaces and the sole has hardly worn after a few months use. These harder soles don’t wear down quickly but have less grip on some wet surfaces than softer soled shoes such as wet limestone or wet wood. I take care on those surfaces. The grip is very good on most other wet or dry surfaces (granite, mud, roads, paths, grass etc). They look good, feel light for the functions they provide and have remained waterproof so far. Size - buy bigger. I have been measured by Clark’s from 1980 to 2024 as a UK 6.5. I have some size 7 trainers (12 years old) that are slightly too big. I needed to buy size 8 in these shoes. The shoes also make noises as I walk. I tuck the laces’ plastic sleeves under the front loop of the lace so they don’t tap on the shoes but there is still a squeaking sound when I walk. Overall a great shoe.

This is the second time I have bought this particular shoe. Absolutely love the stye and the comfort. The first pair lasted years and were excellent value. I’m sure I will be as delighted with the new ones

Great waterproof walking trainers. Good fit, with light socks. The grips on soles look good but will have to prove themselves in mucky weather. Loss of one star is my personal dislike of the type of lace fastening - so this is only my view others msy love them.

Very comfortable, I love the lace tie the most. I hate miles of laces so this is great on a very attractive trainer ,worth the money

First I have to mention that I am a complete beginner, as far as running is concerned. I started rather incidentally a couple of weeks ago, to give my dog more exercise... First, I ran in my hiking boots. They are very good boots, fit perfectly (from Salomon), but they really slowed me down, and I had problems even doing only 2 km! I was afraid running shoes wouldn't give me the support I need at my mature age, but decided to risk it. After a lot of research I bought these shoes, since they are Salomon as well. And I am extremely happy with them. I will have to get used to the fast close thingy, but that doesn't merit a star less. When trying them on, I was afraid they would be too tight and hurt my toes - but this only lasted seconds, and then I felt completely "at home" in them (I chose half a size up from my usual size with this brand, 8.5 instead of the 8 from the hiking boots) and immediately did my first run, along a muddy trail with lots of different surfaces, rather slippery in part. They protected me beautifully. I did 3.5 km with energy to spare and, incidentally, easily broke my former records for 1 km and 1 mile. This speaks for itself! So now let's try doing a run of a decent length one day!

I chose these walking shoes as i am on my feet for 13 hrs, they are black coloured, which is needed for work purposes, goretex so i thought good for breathability of the feet. I have had Salomon trainers before and found them comfortable, supportive at the heel and arch, so i chose these. I have now had them on for four 13 hr shifts and am very dissatisfied. The toes are extremely hard, no doubt to protect the toes, i do not find them cool to wear whatsover, to the point my feet are very hot and feet and especially at the toes inside, my socks are wet. So breathability is very poor quality, the ties are quite tough to tighten and loosen and fiddly, they are quite a slim fit also. I went for my normal size of 6.5, but i fnd these tight with thin socks on. The design of the shoe almost pushes the toes forward to the point of sqaushing them. For the amount of money paid for them, i am not impressed. I will be sending back as not fit for the purpose they were designed for

I wasn't sure about the lacing system as never tried it before but really easy and quick to use and so far holds fast. Great for the bike too as laces are out of the way. I'm a 7 medium wide and bought an 8 as I usually do for a running shoe and its very comfortable. May 2023 update: still using them and they're super! Despite daily wear they're still going strong. Love the quick release laces. Update: Nov 2024 the rubber rand split at the sides so they lasted 4 years with frequent use in all weathers. Jan2025 I have now bought the same shoes again and the fit and quality is still great.

本来24センチで、甲は薄くて狭いです。ギリシャ足で、スニーカーのジャストサイズは人差し指が当たって、時間が経つと痛くなりやすいので、いつも大きめにしています。こちらはわりと大きく感じましたので、ジャストサイズでもよかったかもしれませんが、甲から足首までしっかり絞めると快適になり、ホールド感はあるけど足指はラクなので、結局、サイズアップで良かったかなと思います。締め方次第で随分変わります。絞めるのもクイックレースで簡単でした。

Cette chaussure, que l'on prenne la bonne taille ou une taille au-dessus, ne convient pas par elle sert beaucoup trop fort au-dessus du pied. Je n'ai pourtant pas un pied large. Pourrait peut-être convenir pour des pieds très fins. Dans d'autres cas, je ne recommande pas.
