Beautiful bag for a Christmas gift. It was a bit more money than I wanted to spend, but it is very well made.

The buckles on this bag for the large compartment are very hard to buckle and do not fit properly. They are not functional at all. Very frustrating.

Ok, this bag. I think it is very, very good-looking! It is visibly high quality, like something you'd buy at a leather shop. It smells and feels really good. I got the lighter, saddle tan color, and I feel like it's a neutral color, not too yellow. You can use it as a tote or as a backpack, but the back straps stow away if you don't want to use them.I would say if you are looking specifically for a *backpack*, this might not be the best choice for you. The backpack function isn't central to the design, just a nice feature, so I wouldn't advise it as a primary use. I think this will be best for someone who won't be lugging it on foot for long distances or times - like, I would not choose to carry it when traveling and exploring a city, or if I commuted on public transit every day or walked all over a college campus. I'd get a real backpack with a modicum of security features for that.But, if you're looking for a really lovely bag to carry to work or school and you mostly drive and walk short distances, this could be great for you, especially if you get to look at it during the day. :). Or, if you're flying and also have a carryon you can loop this over (it has a trolley strap), this would work nicely. I think it also would be good for someone to carry craft specific supplies in where you need a designated bag with lots of little storage compartments.Things I like - the trolley strap, the quality of the leather, the top handle (which along with the flat back makes this ideal to hang on a wall hook), the various little compartments and pockets, the general smell and feel of it which I think is pretty timeless and will age well, the size which will work for most people's work or school needs, and the price, which I feel is comparable or better to similar quality bags from leather or boutique stores.Not my fave - the backpack straps just aren't super comfortable for extended carrying and there's not any padding specifically for tech items. That's it!

The media could not be loaded. Love the bag, however the strap came completely off of the bag after 31 days. Now I can't return it. Hopefully can resolve with the seller but...

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this bag. It is big enough to hold many items. It’s got lots of pockets and zipper areas in order for you to keep things organized. I travel between multiple offices and often have to take my keyboard and mouse with me. The keyboard actually fits inside of the bag with everything else. I also love that the backpack straps are able to be tucked into a zipper pocket on the backside when not in use. The side pockets are big enough to hold a water bottle. I was not able to get a travel cup in it.It is well made, durable and a nice leather product. I just love this unique bag!
