I haven’t tested it yet but the installation pictures in the description are spot on! Followed step by step and didn’t have a problem!

Perfect and good quality

Great product! Took about an hour to Install as I wanted it to look good. Pro tip is to heat up the back of the Velcro sticky before you apply. Stays on great and easy to access the battery trays. I got this mainly because the battery trays collect so much dirt on this model.

Compared to normal running this thing drastically increases the heat of the truck while it's running potentially causing damage to the engine and ESC. I'd just avoid this thing, it's got a far greater potential to ruin your truck than just some dirt / grass.

The zipper is defective

I have ran these on both of my X-maxx vehicle for over 3 years and never had overheaing issues. I have ran stock fans and high speed fans on my motors and ESC and either way no overheating. I use to get gravel and dirt in my fans and steering all the time and damaged my fans and the steering will bind up. I personally think they are a bigger help than hurt! that's just my experience take it for what its worth. And i would say i have put well over 50 battery packs on both trucks and still no overheating. Broke alot of other parts but no overheating.
