Value for money product.
I recently bought this cast iron kadai and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen essentials. The build quality is superb – it feels heavy, sturdy and built to last for years. Once seasoned properly, the surface becomes naturally non-stick, making it perfect for frying, sauteing or even slow-cooking curries. The heat retention is excellent – food cooks evenly and stays hot for a long time, which saves gas and keeps dishes warm until serving. I also noticed that cooking in cast iron enhances the taste, giving food that authentic, traditional flavor. Cleaning is simple with just water and a light scrub (no harsh soap needed) and a little oiling keeps it rust-free. Yes, it is heavier than regular cookware, but that’s the beauty of real cast iron – durability and authentic cooking experience.

Heavy pot but corroded after wash..
Material is good but after wash due to water quality..it's getting corroded...means water type matters..

Excellent Quality & Perfect for Daily Cooking
It is very sturdy and heats evenly, making curries and fries taste amazing. The pre-seasoned finish gives a natural nonstick feel, and the curved handles make it easy to handle despite its weight.

Highly recommend
Sturdy product. Strong handle. For every wash, immediately wipe off the water, heat it and apply oil. This helps to extend the durability. Works better than non stick as nothing sticks to the Kadhai & also rust resistance . Good quality at this price range. Evenly distributed heat for efficient cooking. Highly recommend.

Recommended for small deep kadai
The size and thickness are very good, making it suitable for daily use and even deep frying with less oil. However, I noticed an issue in the beginning: there was a black coating on the inner side that came off into the food during the first 2–3 uses. I had to scrub and wash it thoroughly three times and also prepare ghee once, after which the black layer was fully removed. Honestly, this coating feels unnecessary. Regarding rusting, you need to be careful, if you don’t wipe it dry immediately after washing, it tends to rust quickly. otherwise no issues. apart from slight flat bottom, there should option for totally curved bottom for people wish to use less oil.
