Received these and they are lovely. The color is lighter than expected but still love them.

Great price, well made, good looking, but only comfortable under certain conditions. I wish the huge number of reviewers praising the comfortable nature of these chairs would have offered more precise comments on the subject so I could have been warned off from buying and returning them. These chairs are "comfortable" only under certain conditions of use. The firm seat is resilient only in its center, and increasingly non-resilient toward the edges. Your body weight is therefore focused on the center of the seat. But because the back rises straight up from the non-resilient back of the seat--like a church pew (maybe that's where the "Parson's chair" name originates?)--if you lean back to relax, your lower back will be unsupported. Thus, the chairs are reasonably comfortable so long as you're leaning forward and eating, or if you are sitting right in the center of the seat without leaning back; fine if you are just going to eat and get up, but they are not ergonomically designed for comfort if you want to lean back and relax in them after dinner. They're only "very comfortable" if the reference is taken in implicit comparison to non-upholstered wood, metal or plastic chairs.

So far I have only received 2 chairs. I contacted Colamy. We’ll see what they’re going to do about it. Looking for a way to contact Amazon also. Four weeks later….I received the additional 4 chairs plus a $140 refund. I’m very pleased. The chairs are very nice, as expected.

After two years, these seat cushions warp and become very uncomfortable.

I purchased 6 Brown Chairs. My husband assembled the chairs for me. The first chair took 45 minutes to put together. It was very difficult form him to line up the bolts into the holes of the chair seat. He was frustrated because he knew he was assembling the bolts correctly. Then he decided to dry fit each bolt into the holes, and tighten them in, then remove the bolts and do the assembly with the seat base on. This made it so much easier, because by doing this it sort of smoothed out the grooves so the bolts could go through. Now each chair was being assembled in only about 15 minutes time.

These chairs were very easy to put together. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I can’t believe the price I paid for them.

The chairs are gorgeous and I would have given a 5 start but, 20" it's not the seat height as displayed in the pictures on Amazon. Rather the seat height is 18" from the bottom, which was a big turn off for me after spending too much time in search for chairs that have 20" inches or slightly above. When I saw this I was like, this is it... but to my surprise it wasn't the case when I got them. it's such a disappointment.
