Very cool machine
Amazing that nobody has developed a product like this before. I needed to cut a door, and then a smaller door within it, in some existing panelling. I was creating a place for a litter box under stairs, and needed both a large door to be able to access / change the litter box, and a smaller door for our cat to regularly use it. I had considered jigsaws and reciprocating saws and then found this. It is really easy to use and precise. I wondered whether the 'plunge' capability would work. Having had to drill holes in order allow jigsaw access in the past, the plunge capability would be a huge aesthetic plus, and also make easier work of the project. It works perfectly. There are two things that Bosch can work on for the next version, to make this even better: first, if the base plate could adjust to be flat on the surface while plunging, it would make it easier to line up such a cut. Second, ideally this product would allow the blade to be in two positions, eg 'down' and 'out front', basically combining the EasyCut 12 and EasyCut 50 into one. But, as it is now, this is a great device.

Great little device
Great little tool. Wasn’t sure to begin with but I’ve been cutting branches, posts, various thickness of timber and boarding. The blades are expensive to replace but considering their life span and the abuse I have given this little machine they are worth the money. It’s not a jigsaw so won’t do bends etc like a jigsaw but great for cutting longer straight edges and for cutting inspection holes

Good alternative to normal Jigsaw
This nano blade tool is really good, easy to use and precise. I am not 100% sure with the durability of the blade, the first nano blade that was already in the saw lasted 20 cut and it wasn't good anymore. I had a second blade that I ordered apart and it seems better than the the original. Will see. This tool it's not good for big stuff.

Use this saw correctly and you will love it.
I bought this saw back in June 2020 and on my second use when trying to cut thick softwood (a timber joist) the chainsaw part of the blade broke. I contacted Bosch and told them what had happened and returned the saw to Amazon for a refund (Amazon were their usual excellent self with a no quibble return and refund). To their credit Bosch explained that they had a longer saw bloade for deeper cuts. The blade (part number - 2 609 256 D86) is a longer blade than the standard blade and as such is better suited to these deeper cuts. SO when my next project came along (Dec 2020) I ordered another of these saws and the longer blade. I was using 18 and 12mm MDF sheets. The saw was absolutely perfect for this task and the cuts were easy to do. The cuts were straight, clean and the edges were also perfectly square. So my advice is to get this saw into your toolbox if you are ever cutting sheet material. In my opinion that is where it comes into it's own and makes the job a joy to do. For that I totally recommend this saw.

Great idea but expensive replacement blades
I bought this as I like the idea of being able to do round cuts/corners easily and the flexibility, however the blades dont seem to be very strong (my first one broke within a month of casual use) and are quite expensive to replace and not very easy to find..

Versatile and easy to use.
After owning my previous Bosch jigsaw for 12 years I decided to treat myself and replace it. This jigsaw is really good, solidly built and cuts extremely well with none of the judders I was getting with my old one. I hope it lasts as long.

Impressive potential let down by overly expensive blades
Got this as it looked fantastic to cut wood and I had to place chip wood boards in the loft. It looks great and seems to have quite a few add-ons that allow you to do a great job. First flow, the attachment for the vacuum is too big and doesn't fit the normal vacuum you have at home. It is quite fast cutting but, the blade does not last long. The first blade went off after cutting 4 boards, about 2.40 m of woodcut. I thought I had done something wrong so I ordered a second blade. The second lasted even less, probably half the first one. Considering that each blade costs 25£, I think this is the most pointless item I ever bought.

Great tool
Great tool, however would say it is best for DIY. Quite a slow cut compared to a jig saw but gives a better and straight cut.Great tool though.
