WOW! Apparently I've been using the wrong tub/shower mat all this time. A clean smooth surface is absolutely necessary to secure the mat properly. It almost makes a "locking" noise when the suction cups are set in. Really comfortable and no question it will raise the level of security from slips from inferior mats. Color choices...BONUS

I absolutely love this mat it is huge it fits perfectly from The back of the tub to the front of the tub. It sticks perfectly it is very very non-slip and the little bubbles in it really make my feet feel nice and squishy and soft it makes the bathtub not hard on my feet I would definitely buy this a 100 times over.
