Autoglym Super Resin Polish 325ml - High Performance Car Polish for Detailing and Maximum Gloss Finish

One of the best resins. I’ve tried other makes of polish and always seem to return to Autoglym. Easy to apply and does what it says. It holds shine under summer sun and protects against the UK weather in the winter. Like any of this kind of product, do not use in direct sunshine ensure car is clean and dry.

I have used Auto Glym products for years and in my opinion is one of the best on the market. I used to be in the car bodywork trade many years ago, we used this product all time as it brought the car paint work up beautifully. We always recommended it to customers as it does not contain silicon, which is especially useful if you ever need your vehicle to be resprayed (silicon can cause new paint to react leaving what was called "fish eyes"). Ok, you need to put a little elbow grease into the job, unless you've got an electric polisher, but its well worth it in the end. Since I polished my car up (a old Mazda 323F with the original paintwork), it's gleaming, rain has just bubbled up and run off the car leaving no nasty water marks. I would highly recommend this to anyone and is well worth the buy!

I have used this product in the past on car bodywork with great results, but I bought this to use on a clear plastic motorbike screen...it did a brilliant job of removing light scratches and made the whole screen look much brighter. Easy to apply, easy to remove as well compared to some products which dry hard onto surfaces. Well worth having at your disposal!

Let me get the cons outta the way first. I bought this to remove some spider scratches I had. I used a 3 stage system or a rotary disc. Firm pad, softer pad and finally buffing with a microfiber cloth. None of the small spider scratches were removed. Even though it was spread evenly at slow speed until it covered the tank in only a thing film it did start to splatter (somehow) off onto the rest of the bike paint work. This was pretty annoying as it will destroy the plastic/matte paint. I had to spend a considerable amount of time cleaning this up and no matter how little or how long I'd use it for the same thing happened over and over. Pros It did clean the film on the tank of the motorcycle to a pristine shine and removed all cloudiness. The tank has never shined like this before, honestly. 2 pass overs of each panel (3) used about half the bottle, I was surprised. After using Muc-Off carnuba wax/polish on the -entire- motorbike I'd polished it to a wet shine with just under 1/3 of the container used. Opt for a bigger size, I bought the 325ml but you'll need much more for a car I assume.

This resin polish really gives the paint a lease of life. This doesn’t remove a layer of paint like most. Just a small dot, size of a pea, put on an applicator, gently use in a back and forth motion, once the polish has gone dry and hazy, simply wipe over with a clean cloth, and look at the shine! This polish is great for getting rid of scratches too, as long as they’re surface scratches. This product won’t help if you have a deep scratch that goes down to the metal.

Own a black 2009 Ford Focus that was looking a bit dull and sad even after washing. Thought I would need something like a black wax to bring back the colour but after an intense googling session I realised it was a polish/compound that I needed to restore it. That lead to an even intenser amazon search! I ordered this resin polisher Wednesday and used it today (friday) so really fast delivery. I was worried after reading the instructions on the bottle that I'd need special tools/cloths to apply and remove the product on my car but I chanced some microfiber cloths that I had on hand. Did a test area on the bonnet and was amazed with the results an hour later I now have a fab sparkly car. Absolutely delighted with the results (see picture) can't imagine it could be any better with a tool/specialised cloth. So easy to apply, didn't have to use much pressure and it came off so easily with minimum dust. Was worried after reading some of the reviews that it would be a nightmare to remove but it wiped off the trims etc and the car itself with no major effort. As I've only used this today I can't comment on the longevity of the shine. Really recommend this to restore shine and life to your car I'm over the moon.

Excellent product. So easy to put in and rub off, not like normal car wax, this is the best stuff and used by Aston Martin.

Although the polish is easy to use and work in, I would say it is no more effective at light touch ups than many cheaper versions. I’ve also had similar shine results from cheaper alternatives. Good polish but not worth the extra money in my opinion.

My mtb now very smooth & shinny. Great protection too.

Es un buen producto, aunque para arañazos importantes haya que utilizar un producto específico, pero para el mantenimiento regular es muy bueno. Sirve en pinturas mate o metalizadas, de coches clásicos o modernos, y los efectos son duraderos, aunque depende claro de la exposición a los agentes atmosféricos, y también repele muy bien el agua. Yo lo aplico con un algodón normal, lo pulo con un trapo de algodón y termino con una bayeta microfibra, y los resultados merecen la pena. Llevo usando esta cera desde hace mucho tiempo y desde luego la recomiendo. Los ingleses llevan toda la vida con el coleccionismo de coches y desde luego se nota. Además el producto llegó en seguida, incluso antes de lo anunciado.
