Unfortunately, despite the largely good reviews of this product, it was absolutely useless. Half the time it did not pick up any readings on either our six year old or three year old and then when it did they were wildly out. We used fingers and toes (so that makes a minimum of eight different attempts between the two kids) and none gave us any joy. The whole point of buying it was to help us to determine when our three year old needs to go to hospital so that we don't have to take her to the GP or A&E every time we *think* but are not certain that she is in respiratory distress (she's a tricky one, so we're told, as she's full of beans right up to the point when she crashes).So, on the whole, utterly pointless. What a shame! Straight back in the packaging it arrived in and back to seller. [On that point, absolutely no squabbles from Amazon, as expected, so an easy return process].
