Halo Wars 2 - PC

First off I would like to let people know the game code can be redeemed directly via a xbox one console. I am enjoying HW:DE and HW2 on my xbox one and in future when I or IF decide to install Windows 10 on my gaming PC I can use my live ID and enjoy the game on PC also. However that said I find the control pad and big TV experience really nice in these games as they are very well designed. As a big RTS / Strategy genre fan (and someone who played halo wars back in the day) I simply find these games great fun and sit really well in the genre which in recent years has become more and more lacking from it's hey-day. I think when the price is right even people who have never tried a RTS game could give this a go and get enjoyment from it especially if they have even a passing interest in Halo universe. The packaging is OK and I have yet to spot an indicator I actually own the season pass from this (I should from the description). I have a bad feeling the price will drop quite fast on this but I would only say that is all the more reason for people to give it a try ! There are only 2-3 games I would ever pre-order. Mass Effect, Total War and now this. Hopefully by spending a little extra on my all time fave titles I don't have to wait around as long for DLC and good sequels etc !

I bought this product with the intention of getting the DLC and the game for a reduced price as I didn't want to pay for DLC which to me is a sure way of wasting money. The store's download speed for me was 10-20Mbps and this was a huge problem as, I suspect due to the additional DLC content it tried to add to the game, it attempted to download almost 100GB of data from the Microsoft store. This took multiple tries and took 1 day to download everything. Even then the game did not start smoothly and it froze and lagged on the startup screen obviously due to the amount of game data attached to the game files for this particular title. I don't know if this was because of the power of my computer was too low but I would recommend buying the standard edition due to the frankly absurd amount of file size require for Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition. Also I could not find the recommended or required amount of RAM to play this game anywhere on Amazons site or on the box so again I would buy the standard edition if you want to play this game; stuff the DLC its not worth it.

Didn't read the words properly and assumed this is a First Person Shooter. Regrettably it is not, but it is really is a good strategy game that is quite demanding at times.

Awesome game. Works great on both my Xbox and Win 10 Laptop. Didn't even need the disks just the code and left it to download from the store. Haven't played an RTS in a while and didn't have high hopes knowing it had been optimised for console use. But my worries were misplaced as I'm thoroughly enjoying the campaign and have multiplayer to look forward to after this. Then I'll take a look at the original that came with this version.

I think there is nothing wrong with the product but loading discs on windows 10 is a nightmare. Microsoft have definitely improved the security on my PC with windows 10 because I will never get a virus from the DVD drive again (I have never had one before either) because I will never purchase any microsoft games again and waste 2 days of my life trying to fight with windows 10 to play them. If negative stars were possible I would rate this experience minus 6 on a minus 5 scale.

Best game ever. I love playing this game. Played this in 4k and the old halo wars will go into 4k. Hope the rest comes on pc soon. Plus if you want to see gamelan of this search my YouTube channel Barrett Kiss 400. The videos are in 4k. Also the games works on max settings 4k on an gtx 1070.

I have tried to install this on 3 separate occasions and still can't get it working.You buy a game expecting it to load with no problems but you have to go on to Microsoft to get it verified and even the it will not loadUnless you are a wiz with the computer I would not get this game

Very good game and this is the best value you'll find anywhere

Un jeu de stratégie magnifique dans l'ambiance et l'univers de la fameuse saga Halo.Une fois commencé les missions sont prenantes et augmentent en difficulté au fur et à mesure du jeu.De nombreux mode de jeu viennent s'ajouter au mode campagne. Notalent un mode Blitz mêlant capture de drapeau et roi de la colline sur un fond de jeu de carte et de stratégie. Et un peu de chance aussi.

Le jeu en lui-même est excellent, dans la digne lignée de son prédécesseur. Un scénario prenant et au rythme soutenu des missions variées avec de nombreux objectifs secondaires, des personnages au caractère bien trempé (exception faite d'Isabelle, on regrettera Serina) bref, un pur bonheur.L'édition ultime contient le 1er jeu, ce qui rien qu'avec ça en fait un choix intéressant pour ceux n'ayant jamais joué au premier.

Livraison et échange parfait. Pour le produit, un dvd était endommagé et il n'est pas possible de télécharger ce jeu directement depuis internet une fois celui-ci enregistré. Ce qui est surprenant en 2017.
