GUNK GK6869 Traffic Film Remover, 5 Liter

This is a really good product for removing road film, Tree sap & other nastys from car body work.I’ve been using it for ages. Best diluted in a spray bottle etc, probably 50/50, use just before washing as a pre- treatment, give it a few minutes to work before washing off & cleaning your car normally This was great value, should last 12 months if used non commercialy.

Great stuff. Use it twice rather than increase the concentration during a singly wash. The first wash loosens the traffic film, then the second reallly gets it removed.

I have to say I was disappointed with the results. I mixed a 4/1 mix. The first run looked no better, as did the second and third. I tried the last time and left it to soak for five minutes. It did remove 75% of the dirt but could have done a better job with a sponge and fairy liquid. I was using a Kärcher K4 and sprayed via a garden 5lr sprayer. I'll try again next time with a 50/50 mix and see if it's better.

You may think that because of how cheap this product is that you would have to use a lot of it. I found it better to use neat than as a dilution but even still, it worked exceptionally well. Just fill a spray bottle and apply to the areas you need help getting stubborn grime off and that's it. For equally great affect, add some to your snow foam mixer bottle to help lift the traffic film before pressure washing away. Overall I am very happy with this product and it works very well indeed. And at a very good price too.

Pleasant surprise as the item worked better than I expected

Ce produit est peu concentré, si l'on suit les prescriptions de dilution, il est presque inéficae. Pour arriver à laver correctement un véhicule il fau multiplier par dix les doses, ce qui en fait un produit trés cher. je le déconseille.
