I had the craziest thing happen to me! My standard, 2003 Toyota Matrix that was parked in front of my garage, ON IT'S OWN smashed into my garage door. No key in the ignition, first gear was engaged, and emergency brake was engaged. I received a call from my neighbor asking me what happened to my car. I told him I did not know what he was taking about. He told me to come out and look at my garage. Needless to say, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Somehow, the starter engaged and spun the front wheels making a skid marks! Garage door was smashed in. I got in the car and tried starting the car, no go. I searched for a replacement starter. Of course I was led to Amazon. I had no idea I would find a starter on Amazon. I appreciate others reviews and input. This looked like a quality product at a good price. Product arrived within 2 days and in good shape. After looking at a few videos on YouTube, I got right to it changing out the starter. Just know, on my particular model Matrix/Corolla, the starter mounts with one long bolt (top one) screwing in towards the driver's side, while the lower long bolt screws in towards the passenger side. I actually had to not only take off the fan housing, but the exhaust manifold to get a good look at the starter. New one fit well. Put everything back together. Started up the car and she started right up! To make sure, I started the car four more times. I would recommend this product. It is well made, nice finish to it, and designed to fit into place with no issues. 😎

Installed over a month ago and I waited a bit to review it. Great purchase, no issues, crazy fast crank speed, good quality, easy to install. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a cheap starter for your old Toyota matrix/corolla.

Yes I put the starter on and it worked perfectly and it is still working a month later it fit perfect and I appreciate it
