Use this very regularly as we like to do the majority of our cooking outdoors. Has held up well and works as you expect it should. Quality is excellent and have not had any issues with it.

This burner has been left outside next to my gas grill on a covered patio. The body of the burner looks new, but the ring around the burner and the burner itself are already pitted with rust. The heat output is fine, but obviously it can't be left outside with my other outdoor kitchen accessories.

We bought this mainly for searing meat outside so we don't stink up the kitchen. It's fantastic. The size is just big enough to give a stable platform for our cast iron skillet, but not so big that it's a pain to store. Lights easily, and heats up like you'd expect. Exactly what we were looking for, and the price was great. I expect we'll be using this for many years to come.
