Bought these for harvesting colostrum prior to baby’s arrival (and in the first couple of days post partum). Initially a little fiddly to collect the colostrum droplets, once I got the hang of it, these were fab. I tried a number of methods (including using a spoon and a small cup) but found that collecting directly into the syringe worked best. As these are sterilised, that’s super easy. The small cap allows for easy sealing and freezing too - just don’t lose it as they’re a choking hazard otherwise!

I purchased these syringes to collect colostrum from 37 weeks pregnant. I had previously been given 3 syringes by the hospital, and had 5 others in a branded ‘colostrum collection’ kit which I had used. This pack of 20 is much better than both other options. They get good suction and allow collection straight from the nipple. They are also excellent value. I would highly recommend them and wish I hadn’t spent the money on the branded kit.

The stringes are good as you get so many for this price. However, they are a bit inconvenient to use at times. The syringe sometimes acts weird and pulling it up ends up releasing some fluid collection. Would still purchase again though as it's at a good price.

These syringes are great, I filled all of mine before going to the hospital and kept them in the fridge. They last well in the fridge and are small enough to put into a freezer bag to take to the hospital.
