Looks just like the picture.

looks the same as in the photos
there are very very tiny bubbles in some areas so it's not absolute perfection, but they are so small that you will not see them unless you are trying your hardest to find them, they can also just be filled in if they bother you that much. In a room or whatever it looks amazing, exactly as it does in the photos.

Excellent value
I saw the original of this statue when I visited the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge last year. I fell in love with it and even took a photo of it. I was looking for an ornament for the end of my sideboard and was astonished when the exact same bust popped up, a reproduction of course. I didn't find it on Amazon but on another company where it cost £11 more but now that I knew she existed as a repro I decided to check Amazon and am glad that I did. I was concerned about some of the reviews but as Amazon's return policy is so good I decided to risk buying her. There is one slight mark but it is in the folds of the veil behind her left ear and doesn't notice at all. Also it is slightly greyer than the original but what could I expect for £51, the original must be worth thousands. I have her next to a pure white container on my sideboard and as you can see the greyness is so slight that she doesn't look out of place against the white of the pot. Don't hesitate to buy her. Because she is timeless she is an excellent piece for any home.

Good basic figure at a great price
Good basic figure at a great price, it had a few nubs and air bubble holes from casting so being very fussy I felt I needed to finish it better in a few parts with a craft knife, filler and sandpaper...not a great problem for me. I am now quite happy with the bust and it looks great.

Well worth it
This has always been a should or shouldn't I purchase for me as I have thought about buying it for a long time. Some reviews are mixed but I took a chance anyway. It's great, a really nice piece. It looks spooky but elegant and it would look a treat no matter where you wanted to display it. One thing I will say is that it is very light and obviously hollow so I have put a bit of blu Tack on the pads to stabilise it and it now feels more secure. Overall I am very pleased with the Veiled Lady.

Looks rough as hell.
It's alright. Nothing like the pictures. Mine had a lot of air bubbles in it, but 'fortunately' they're mostly on the back so they can't be seen. It looks like it's set on a black base, but it's not. It's a one-piece mould, with the lower part painted black (very clumsily) to make it look like a separate base. Paint job looks like it was done in 3 seconds as it's wonky as hell. There are random blobs of glue on sporadic parts, and random rough blobs that ruin the intended smooth look. On my one, there's a rough patch right on top of the left eyelid which looks awful close up. The flowers at the top are also rough as hell, with pointy bits and porous airholes and random messed up textures. I would return it and get a new one, but from what I can see there's no point because according to reviews every single one has its own unique flaws, so I'd just be replacing these flaws with different ones. For the price, this is pretty crappy. I knew it was going to be small based on the dimensions too, but this statue doesn't look great at the size it's currently at. If this was a full-sized bust it would look a lot better, but at the strange half-size it's at now it's underwhelming in real life.

Rich details. Good coloring. Nice weight to it heavy enough but not overly so. If other pieces by this brand are of the same quality, I would recommend them.

Buy it without hesitation. Its top class. As shown in picture. Light. ITS COSTLY, but for the Connoisseurs of sculptures. HISTORICALLY, THERE ARE 3 KINDS of "VEILED FACE" SCULPTURES THAT ARE POPULAR: 1. FIRST ONE is "VEILED VIRGIN BUST", originally carved in Rome by Italian sculptor Giovanni Strazza in 1850s, depicting VEILED VIRGIN MARY. It was TRANSPORTED to ISLAND OF NEWFOUNDLAND British colony in 1856. Today, Newfoundland is the province of Canada since 1949. 2. 2ND POPULAR VEILED ONE is an English based, Italian artist RAFFAELLE MONTI’S FULL-BODY SITTING "VEILED VESTAL" in 1847. It is a REPRESENTATION OF VESTAL VIRGIN, the PRIESTESS OF ROMAN GODDESS VESTA, the virgin GODDESS OF HEARTH, HOME, and FAMILY in Roman religion. THE ONE I BOUGHT ON AMAZON IS LIKELY OF BEING THIS (the face part). 3. THE 3RD POPULAR VEILED FACE IS "VEILED REBECCA / VEILED BRIDE" by Italian sculptor GIOVANNI BENZONI in 1863. It DEPICTS BIBLICAL FIGURE of REBECCA, STANDING and placed on a marble pedestal. One of the Rebecca's replica is at Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad. It DEPICTS an OLD TESTAMENT SCENE, where REBECCA lays eyes on her HUSBAND ISAAC for the first time. IN ALL above 3 POPULAR veiled faces, NOTE THAT the VEIL gives appearance of being TRANSLUCENT. The EFFECT IS AN ILLUSION, enabled by TRANSLUCENT MARBLE and a SLY COMPOSITION! That's the beauty of these 3 sculptures.
