i would buy this again in a heart beat. it's one of my favorite watches by far in my collection. great quality. good price. leather band looks and feels beautiful. BUY IT!

It has a classic and timeless look that never goes out of stile. I love it. It looks like the one that my grandpa used. I would definitely recommend it.

Short Story: If you want or need a snazzy looking dress watch for occasional wear without breaking the bank, then look no further. As long as you don't look too closely, this watch has the look of a watch several times its price. If you're considering this watch for daily use and especially for its chronograph functions, you might want to read on. Let's start with the chronograph. Usually, a chronograph like this utilizes one of the sub-dials to count the time-of-day seconds and is continually running. The large second hand functions when the chrono is in use, which makes it easier to determine fractions of a second. This OLEV works just opposite. The 6 o'clock sub-dial functions as the chronograph second, so it's a little more difficult to get a precise read. Now for the chronograph's real flaws: As you can see from the sub-dial close-up, the second hand does not reset precisely to the 12 o'clock position on the watch I received for review. Also, the pushers to start, stop and reset the chrono are abysmally 'mushy' and provide no tactile feedback. Even in this price range, there are better options out there if you really need/want a decent chronograph. The strap: While it does look nice, the strap has an extremely rubbery feel and is not something I'd want to wear daily. In OLEVS defense, they do not claim the watch has a leather strap, and you can always replace the strap if you really like the watch. Waterproof: OLEVS says the watch is water resistant to 3ATM. Even so, other than washing my hands or walking from my office to the car in a thunderstorm, I wouldn't wear this anywhere around water. If water resistance is a must-have on your list, get a watch designed to be waterproof. In sum, the OLEV's strikingly good looks and pittance of a price save it from its other flaws. Consequently, it remains a solid four-star product in my opinion. If it winds up dying or falling apart in a few months, I will update my review accordingly.
